I don't think it's important for Julio Jones to break a record, but it's  possible in the process  of the game. With Julio a win will be just find.

He never panned out for a second round pick. Plus he couldn't stay out of trouble. Wasted his opportunity for big bucks.

FLOWERY BRANCH —  Defensive lineman Ra’Shede Hageman, who finished his two-game suspension, was waived/injured by the Falcons on Monday. Hageman, 29, was trying to make a comeback after being out of the NFL for two seasons. He was on the reserve/suspended list after joining the Falcons in training camp.

I think the screen pass to Julio Jones was well executed. This was Dirk Koetter's emphasis through the week that the offense needs to execute better. But being said that, Matt and Dirk Koetter abandoned the running game especially after Ito got them to the eleven yard line. With first and goal. 43 passes 17 runs is not the balance that Dan Quinn talked about at the inception of the season.

The line was realistically always going to be a work in progress, that's why a lot of us hated having to face the Vikings and Eagles so early on in the season. Losing Lindstrom hurts a lot though, he was looking like our best offensive lineman outside of Mack. We are going to need to step up on defense BIG time because our offense is going to have problems against the Eeagle's front seven.

Man looks Brian Hill has gotten faster and lighter. I need to see him in a couple more preseason games. Ollison is in for a run for his money.

I didn't realize Brian Hill had those kind of wheels. He was showing some speed

The Falcons lucked out on the NFL schedule more than the Saints did. The Saints have to play the Seahawks and the Rams both on the road! We get both the Seahawks and Rams at home. The Saints also have to play at Chicago. That should give the Falcons a huge advantage. The ADC south is kind of unpredictable IMO so I didn't really take that into consideration. The Saints have to play at Jacksonville and at Tennessee and we play at Indy and at Houston. They may have a slight advantage there but it's close to call. I'd say we have an advantage schedule wise. I also believe we are better than the Saints if our running game is clicking. So I'd say if we are going to take back the NFC south this year is a great opportunity to do it.
