    I would trade 4,5,6.
See if that’s enough to get into the end of the 3rd and it still leaves us a pick in every round on day 3.

If they trade both 4ths to get into the late 3rd round who should the pick be?

My pick: Jachai Polite DE (yep I think he will still be there late in the 3rd)

But you posted a 2018 clip for your argument. I stand by what I originally said. He played well against Clemson and FSU.

Is it just me or does his post say we couldn’t afford to keep Campbell after signing DeBo and Grady?

Just considering all these trade up rumors, what if they trade up for Devin White? May not be able to afford Dbo, Grady, and still keep Devondre Campbell.

I don't know what it is about Ferg, I've tried and tried again to like him more than i do. When I watch him I see a guy that is physically perfect for the role but most plays are uninspiring. It's like when he wants to he can but, most of the time he doesn't want to. Maybe its a scheme thing.
Polite to me plays like a barbarian and I love that.

Now that I think about it you do have a point. I do love Polite's game as a pass rusher. We still have Beasley and Takk here among other guys. Ferguson right now is the more complete guy but long run Polite might be better and Atlanta may be the rotation he needs to further develop his game.

CBS mocking this cat as a first round pick. Wouldn't be shocked, personally have always thought of him as way undervalued and underrated. He doesn't get the attention he should.

Would also consider Ben Banogu maybe around round 4. He flashes on tape and has the highest ceiling out of just about all these DEs coming out.

I agree. I’m wondering how much DQ likes Lawrence. And while I love Oliver I think he may be too light to play DT in the nfl. I know most will argue with Donald but Donald is a rare breed that just makes things happen. I haven’t researched Wilkins yet but I’m going to look in to him because so many people are raving about him I want to see for myself. I do wonder if DQ sees Oliver as a possible DE in our scheme. I seen someone ask that somewhere and it makes a lot of sense

I try to do this every year (see 2016 & 2017). Below is my shortlist of targets for each round - guys who in my mind address needs, represent value and are scheme fits. Some call it a 'short' or 'small' board. Bill Belichick is famous for having a list of 20-30 targets every year and so it's not a stretch to imagine TD & Pioli using something similar.
Obviously not all of these guys will be available where I have them slated to go and in some rounds we may have to get creative to get some of these guys.
Without further ado here is my list:

    1st Round
Ed Oliver, DL, Houston Jawaan Taylor, OL, Florida Cody Ford, OL, Oklahoma Brian Burns, Edge, Florida State Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
    2nd Round
Sean Bunting, DB, Central Michigan Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, DB, Florida Nasir Adderley, DB, Delaware Chase Winovich, Edge, Michigan Jonathan Abram, S, Mississippi State
    3rd Round
Miles Sanders, RB, Penn State Isaiah Johnson, DB, Houston Blake Cashman, LB, Minnesota Chuma Edoga, OL, USC Khalen Saunders, DT, Western Illinois
    4th & 5th Round
Renell Wren, DT, Arizona State Maxx Crosby, Edge, Eastern Michigan Jamal Davis, Edge, Akron Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State Trysten Hill, DT, UCF Mike Weber, RB, Ohio State Lamont Gaillard, OL, Georgia Evan Worthington, DB, Colorado Mercole Hardman, WR, Georgia Joe Jackson, DE, Miami
    6th & 7th Round
Ryan Bates, OL, Penn State Iosua Opeta, OL, Weber State Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo John Cominsky, DE, Charleston Iman Marshall, DB, USC Gary Johnson, LB, Texas Darius Slayton, WR, Auburn Mitch Wishnowsky, P, Utah Jack Fox, P, Rice Jake Browning, QB, Washington
