  1. It’s going to happen this year... We will meet the Patriots in the Super Bowl. With two weeks to prepare I just pray to God that our defensive line will be ready to wreck havoc, because they will have to.
  2. Yeah bruh I was scrambling to find a quote; Straight nightmare fuel.
  3. I disagree with you about Takk... He is about to have a big year; He will establish himself as a top 10 pass rusher by the playoffs.
  4. I actually thought he was the best pure pass rusher in the draft. I wanted to pick him up badly in the draft but if dude doesn’t have the competitive nature needed to succeed in the NFL then we can pass but our locker room environment does good for players like him.
  5. That’s when he pretty much developed.
  6. This would be a good trade and I’ll tell you why. Sanu is a good 2-3 option, I like having him on our squad because of his solid hands; He makes great catches in traffic. But as far as receiving options, we have Julio, Ridley and Hooper as well. I’ve always wanted Hooper to develop into a top-tier TE but he can’t do that with so many options/opportunities going to other targets. He has a pretty big ceiling but he’s been the bottom of the barrel when it comes to targets and I would like to have him involved more in our offense. Who’s targets would we have to cut into? Well if we trade Sanu then it would make the decision a lot easier. We could also give Ridley some more targets as well (I think Ridley could be another Marvin Harrison when he gets comfortable catching the ball). Clowney on our defense will instantly make us top-5 and my goodness offenses will have freaking nightmares scheming against us and Quinn will instantly figure out how to utilize him. Clowney, Takk, Beasley, and Grady? We are talking about a D-line that would be in the history books and if they make this trade then I would just about guarantee that we win the Super Bowl.
  7. Let Vic go next season and use additional cap to sign Clowney.
  8. People do not know how to measure a great coach. Quinn will be back for next year and beyond.
  9. Is there any one else in here that feels that it will be our defense(along with the run game to a degree) that will factor the most into us winning the Super Bowl? The media pundants love to talk offense all day long; It sells tickets and apparently sells audiences that these analysts know what they’re talking about. Chiefs, Aints, Aaron Rodgers, Cowboys, even the freakin Browns have gotten in on the media offensive circus. Falcons are spoken about as well but everyone is hesitant to take Matty Ice’s side. But, our defense, if our D-line takes it up a notch, could be one of the best in recent history. That’s what it will take, because as much as I love our skill players our O-line will struggle against playoff scheming and defense. I honestly will have a hard time trusting this squad UNLESS the defense is top-5 which in my opinion is a very reasonable expectation. Turnovers, sacks etc. The regular season can’t get here fast enough. The offense focus has been a smoke screen for what our defense will do this year; we should definitely be imposing wills 2019-20 and beyond...
  10. Top 5 doesn’t mean top 5 in both categories...At least that’s not what I meant. I’m talking a cumulative top 5 overall defense. Isn’t tied to into stats just a overall feared defense.
  11. Matt Ryan will have to compensate for lack of solidness on the right side with 2 rookies. Running the ball will be extremely important this year.
  12. Man this is close to exactly what I’m saying. Basically the deficiency in those types of teams is lack of a passing game but they force the run to control the tempo of the game because of it. I don’t know about 20 but a 15-10 rated offense will get the job done with a top-5 defense. In other words Matt does not need to be a world beater to get a ring.
  13. With a top-5 defense a Super Bowl is certain. As a matter of fact if we go into the playoffs with a top-5 defense I promise we will win the Super Bowl.
  14. What are you talking about, I can’t even remember what I was doing in 2016-17. *Serious response Our defense ran out of gas and couldn’t overcome the mistakes our stupid coordinator was making. I think a Top-5 would come out victorious even with those blunders. I still don’t know why Kyle was fighting so hard to get Matt Ryan MVP my goodness man just run the freakin’ ball.
  15. Best thing about this pass rush is that he used the threat of his speed to open up the tackle on the inside, thus putting him off balance and he was able to do a bull rush. Look at his alignment before the snap and look at his footwork after the snap and you’ll see why this worked. This was my BIGGEST problem with Vic last 2 years because he thought he was strong enough to literally bull rush the tackle every time and he’s not. I’m happy he realized this.
  16. Ito has better vision even tho his pay doesn’t say it. Free runs to make contact 60% percent of the time. Ito’s vision is pretty amazing and although he doesn’t break 60 yard runs Ito runs with a style that would absolutely kill teams in the second half/4th qt. A lot a defensive players will struggle to get a hand on a player like Ito when dealing with a player like Free in the first half.
  17. Dude played with the same helmet for 10 years and didn’t think to stock up on more than one (hindsight 20-20 I know) but I would think he would have the resources to have one made.
  18. “February 5th, 2017. F_ck that day. F_ck me. F_ck Brady. F_ck Freeman not picking up that Hightower blitz. F_ck Edelman and his illegally enhanced body. F_ck James White checkdowns. F_ck everyone but especially **** that MAGA blowing, handjob getting, sex slavery promoting owner who can get ****** 100 times over. This team is so talented yet it all goes wasted on Dan Quinn and his piss poor in game management skills. Stop kicking field goals at inappropriate times you bald headed f_ck! F_ck Sarkisian with an 8-inch playbook full of nothing but halfback tosses.” This ish had me DEAD yo... DEAD
  19. If we’re being 100% dead serious then yeah I understand where you’re coming from. But, goodness would that be hilarious and brilliant if it were even slightly true? Julio hasn’t signed the deal but the man is out there living his best life not worried about a thang like Stevie Wonder. MT is in his home playing thumb war with his agent until Julio signs his deal so he can gage his worth... That, is funny my friend.
  20. I don’t know what you guys saw, but a saw a lot of improvement with Beasley with this one snap. He’s keeping his shoulders horizontal which keeps O-linemen from getting into his chest which helps him set up countermoves (God I hope he learned some). Not only that, his stance is perfect for a speed rusher; he seriously needs to get acclimated to rushing from that stance. Beasley was one of those guys who was definitely infatuated with his prowess in the weight room to the point he thought he could bullrush 320 pound linemen. This one snap tells me that is no longer the case.
  21. If this board dies? I’m moving on to Reddit.
  22. Sanu did it best with the most fluidity. Ridley’s was to choppy.
  23. This is the real answer... That’s why Quinn can’t state it out loud. He hold back too much attacking these pass blockers you gotta be gangsta on defense.
  24. With Ryan Schrader being cut and us having a lil more flexibility in cap we will hear news soon about Julio’s improved deal. We won’t be able to focus on Grady Jarrett till next year but this is honestly our last shot at being able to win a Super Bowl, TD is doing everything in his power to hold this team together long enough for us to get a ring and we won’t be able to hold it together much longer.
