Hey, this guy praising Ryan for the win today dosnt insult me at all bro..id take a hard pass on that ..I don't feel insulted at all

If you read this post it was never an insult.

It was to point out the absolute lack of logic from people who thought you could just toss a mobile QB behind a garbage OL and expect them to make something from nothing.

Only the second coming of Mike Vick could work with the OL we fielded weeks 1 and 2.

One week ban is my suggestion.

I don't see why Ridley would re-sign with the team, given poor play at QB, OL, and coaching.  Ridley's 5th year is next year.  That means we'll have to draft another shiny new toy with our 1st again next year.

Julio leaving for a 'better team will be in the back of anybody who's talented's minds and doesn't want their career killed.

Dude Ridley is playing awful, what are you even on about?

You are either trolling or just have 0 football knowledge. So many bad takes/posts.

Overpaying mediocre talent that catered to his ego of thinking he drafts quality players. Overly dependent on the talent of his QB. Not knowing how to draft players in the trenches.

Literally rode Matt Ryan's talent for a decade.

We could have had multiple SBs with a halfway decent GM and coach.

It was actually never 48-10.  What we did in the 3rd quarter was pull it within a field goal, which is much more impressive.  It was 25-28.  The other 20 points came off of a series of blunders, two of them by the offense.  And they weren't just bad decisions, or I'd have less optimism.  They were a pick 6 where Ryan threw to Gage and Gage wasn't able to come back.  Matt could have put the throw closer to the sideline, and Gage probably shouldn't have been in the game.  It is what it is.  Then the tipped pass, which wasn't Ryan's fault, but really wasn't the o-line's fault, at least not in a "you made a mistake."  One of our guys got beat and their D-line made a play.  It happens.

That was a winnable game.  It's a game we arguably should have won, except they're more talented than we are and have been with the same coaches for 2 seasons now.  This was our 2nd real game with this staff.  I have no doubt this stuff is getting cleaned up.

    That's my takeaway.

Most people here know I was literally worried for Ryan's life with this game.

And we *could* have won it. That's a big deal. This team has absolute garbage fires on OL/DL but it's getting better.

Reality check time. Can't expect Smith, our brand new HC, to work miracles with this sketchy roster with its abysmally sub-par OL and DL.

So much for "Win Now." Wild TATF optimism for winning football in 2021 is officially cancelled. Back into Embrace the Suck mode until further notice. 🤪

My only hope for this season was AS and Peas scheming around our awful OL/DL….but sadly they are not magicians.

Yeah but within 10 yards he was 50%

    2014 - He was 63.3 inside the 20 and 61.11 inside the 10.

    2015 - 57.53 and 58.33.

My bad. I should have stated when I was looking at red zone numbers I was looking at both inside the 20 and inside the 10.

Considering we haven't had an OL/OC/RB worth a **** his entire career here except for Kyle for 2 yrs and Turner till 2012... not surprising.

Give him a decent OL, RB, and OC and magically we score.

Amen, the first game was an embarrassment fom top-to-bottom let's just call a spade a spade.

I don't expect us to win Sunday Tampa Bay has far more Talent than we do but I swear to God if we don't score more than six points and at least one touchdown I really hope Smith is one and done

I tend to agree, but I think our absolute dearth of talent on both lines has to be viewed in context.

If we had a half competent OL *at all* we would have won against the Uggles.

So it's not the QB, it's the head coach.

That's not really reassuring considering AS was supposed to be an offensive mastermind.

It's only been one game but, ****, I don't remember a bigger opening flop.

All that good will.... completely wiped out in 60 minutes.

Anyone with a brain could see it's not the QB... but a lot of Falcons fans here are like the Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz...

If we don't fix our OL this week then Matt is toast when we face TB.
