  1. Long story short. Around 1986 my moms friend took us in when we were homeless. Glenda's husband was a construction worker from Georgia .(we lived in SE Texas at the time)Big Falcons fan. Treated me like one of his kids and included me in all things. Football happened to be one of them. So from that point on, regardless of wins or losses (the wins make it sweeter obviously) the Falcons will always have a special spot in my heart.
  2. Speedy recovery to the young man. Hate to hear that.
  3. Rooting for this kid big time. The Falcons need him. I hope he truly gets his mind right and doesn't go the way of Takk.
  4. Because most on TATF want names. Not actual football players. If they aren't All Pro they are trash. Many fail to realize that a good mix of good to great players, solid pros, and glue guys is what makes a team great. Not big names all around.
  5. Facts. Guys that can peel the coverage back and let the big guys eat em underneath. Speedsters also can cause confusion in coverage. Eat up so much ground and get defenders out of their element.
  6. I am really digging AS. No nonsense Xs and Os coach. Also shout out to Scott Bair who has done a real nice job as of late on these recaps.
  7. Yes. As the main guy in a RBBC he will be fine. He proved last year, when given a shot he is a capable back. Now we just need Ollison, Hawkins, Patterson or whoever to contribute with some productive carries and catches as well.
  8. Yes sir, I would love to see that. Also for him to find his voice and lead the team. But at this point he is more of a leader by his play. Hopefully Debo gets reinvigorated playing in a new system and plays up to his ability.
  9. I personally enjoy fishing and travelling with the family. Other than that I really enjoy cooking for family and just chilling.
  10. That's what I am talking about. Props and congrats to you sir.
  11. Don't worry. If Kayvon Thibodeaux balls out we grab him or Stingley from LSU.
  12. Unfourtunately thats what being heavy and gray hair wil do to you. Or in my case no hair. Unfourtunately I am rocking the cul de sac hairline.
  13. Don't forget about Walker. He is coming up as well.
  14. Facts. It's a run based, create mismatches, players in motion, moving offensive line, and throw to the open man on offense. AS hasn't reinvented the wheel on offense, but more or less likes to play smart football. The way it should be played. Run the ball and throw to the open man when you throw.
  15. I sure hope so. Will hopefully point towards a more dedicated approach to a sound run game. With no true bell cow this will be a RBBC approach. And if it produces, I'm here for it.
  16. You mean the Houston area weather isn't nice in September?! 😂
  17. Great OP @g-dawg... Love the insight and breakdown. I think TF handled himself very well this draft. No reaches, suave moves, and almost a true BPA draft.
  18. The schedule is what it is. Up to Arthur Smith and the Falcons to play what is set in front of them. And win. I personally like the test. Time for the Falcons to ball out. Nothing is easy as it is on paper in the NFL.
  19. I like Rich Eisen. The combo of him and Stuart Scott on ESPN will forever be my favorite duo in sportscasting. ESPN is trash now though....
