So you would take Hoop over....

    Noah Fant?

Kelce and Kittle I would take over Hoop. Nobody else on that list. Ertz is close.

Higbee has been trash until recently.

    Andrews is Jackson primary read.

Fant...what did he do with rhe Broncos?

Ertz is primary target in Philly and getting older. If he was younger than yes.

Considering Hoops age, ability, and he is not the main guy he has been good. With all that being said, I do not pay him if defense can be improved and a viable TE option can be had.

And I acknowledge that is a valid path, but I still go back to this...Payton during those years was still a prolific offensive coach.  Harbaugh through his rough years always had a good defense.  What does DQ offer?

That defense in Baltimore has little to do with Harbaugh. Most of those players were in place already. Credit the GM and DC for those.

Between the flavor of re-fried beans and the texture, is there a worse combination in the food world?

As I'm trying to come up with a food I find more repulsive....I can't think of any.

Surely there has to be something?!

    Potted meat. Terrible.

When made fresh... Meaning ground down skillet cooked in bacon grease... Refried beans are delicious.

yeah but they actually WON the SB when they got there, they didn't give up the worst come back win in the history of the game, so he had that going for him

I can agree with this. Again, I am not for firing or keeping Quinn. I just no that either way is not a guarantee.

He has had his ups and downs like every other coach.

  5. I am not for keeping or firing Quinn. But I know the Saints were in cap ****, kept Payton, posted one of the all time worst defenses, and went 7-9 for 3 years.

Now look at them square in the middle of HFA for the playoffs.

Pushing reset every few years doesn't always net better results. Just results in temporary gratification.

Regardless of what happens, I will always root for a Falcons W. Period. No matter who is at the helm.

Yup, cause no players ever get game planned for, and have a silent 1/3 of a game. Last time these teams played he had 4 we ignore that now?

He is still the best DL prospect by a wide margin. Don’t see the point in downing him because you prefer Okudah or Delpit.

He isn't an SEC darling bro. Don't you get it? If he played for UGA, LSU, or BAMA he would be the greatest ever!

    Sanders is showing his worth.

Sanders got over shadowed by Barkley. But in all fairness he isnt the beast Barkley is... But he is a **** good RB. One I wished the Falcons had and utilized.

My new offensive crush from PSU is KJ Hamler. Guy is a play maker that oozes confidence. He should be a fun one to watch.

Yes and no. Close, but not quite.

Yes sir. I feel you. That whole Seattle Defense doesnt exist without Thomas roaming the middle.

In that same regard but to a lesser extent , as many bad *** players as the Ravens defense had it doesnt stay dominant without Reed. But I am biased. Reed was one of my favorite safeties all time. Instincts were off the charts.

Same could be said about Polamalu as well.

It’s great to see some real talent on the team for once. Don’t love Franklins coaching, but talent wins in NCAA, so real glad to have him for his recruiting! Some real talent on that D I wouldn’t mind seeing in red and black some day!

the white out should be nuts. everyone should experience a whiteout game in Happy Valley.

Franklin is to Penn State what Mack Brown was to Texas and Kevin Summon at A&M. Ultimate recruiter but not much of an X and O guy.

But you can win with that in the NCAA. His recruiting classes have been getting crazy. Especially his defensive line and running backs.

  10. No shame in getting worked as a rookie by one of the best d line players this generation knows. JJ Watt is the closest we have seen to Reggie White since he departed the league. McGary will be okay in the long run although he may take a beating Sunday.

McGary and Lindstrom will prove to be building block players long term.

Keep hearing we shouldn't waste Ryan and JJ's prime years! When can we ever hope to see those. And "paying the man" Freeman. Big mistake. Watch the Pats formula, Other than their proven racehorse; Brady. They hardly ever over pay. Probably just better at sorting out talent from year to year. Sad the F's can't seem to do that.

The narrative of comparing teams to the Pats is tired and lazy.

For one.... Nobody has ever been able to replicate what they do for as long as they have done it.

They have had their fair share of mess ups too. Including drafts. But sound coaching and an All World QB has covered up for most of it.
