  1. Edwards is a run stuffer that will bull rush to get to the quarterback. He is not a speed or edge rusher who can fly by the tackles. In Nolan's schemes he doesn't quite fit, however he isn't making bad plays either so I really can't complain. But like you said nit picky...
  2. Let's turn to ESPN Stats & Information for a look at how the Falcons defeated the San Diego Chargers 27-3 on Sunday. Matt Ryan outdueled Philip Rivers when it came to dealing with pressure. When facing five or more pass rushers, Ryan completed 83.3 percent (10-of-12) of his passes, averaging 6.7 yards per attempt and throwing for a touchdown. Rivers completed only 42.9 percent (2-of-7) of his passes, averaging 4.8 yards per attempt and was intercepted twice. Although Atlanta’s running game hasn’t been stellar this year, the mere presence of Michael Turner and Jacquizz Rodgers still caused problems for defenses. Against San Diego, Ryan completed all seven pass attempts of play action for 67 yards and a touchdown. Even before Sunday, Ryan had been efficient with play action, completing 17 of 21 passes with no sacks and no interceptions. http://espn.go.com/b...at-the-chargers
  3. lol..Yeah such a huge signing that was! Giving up over 250 yds rushing is a big UPGRADE!!!
  4. Floyd is his go to guy for third and long and so is Gates but Gates plays the underneath routes where Floyd plays the go routes and comeback routes. If we run the base defense which I think we will do often against them, then we need to mix up our cover 2 blitzes and have spoon on Gates. Look for Asante to get his first pick this year...
  5. Turner actually drinks a little more before the game and is caught speeding again but only this time the Chargers can't catch him...
  6. Lets predict the Iggles turnovers. You can chime in McMVP. I say MV throws 2 picks( One returned for a TD) and 1 fumble to make it three and that brings the Iggles total of TO to 12 for the year! Arizona 27, Iggles 24.
  7. Yes that was awesome. I love that! Also they have a video of Decoud as well...
  8. We are so blessed to have such a great organization and owner who symbolizes greatness and nothing short of it...
  9. We usually try to do that at the game when we are at home.It would be nice if more fans get involved. I know I always say it and then celebrate it just like he does when watching on TV too..
  10. Didn't see it posted; Jones worth the price:When the Falcons investigated whether to trade up for wide receiver Julio Jones in the 2011 draft, one of the conversations they had with Alabama head coach Nick Saban persuaded them to do the deal. Saban told the Falcons that Jones was one of his favorite players, if not his favorite, he ever coached. Hearing Saban speak so glowingly made it easier for the Falcons to surrender two first-round picks, one second-round pick and two fourth-round picks to Cleveland for the Browns' sixth overall pick, which they used on Jones. Now that the Falcons have had Jones for two seasons, they say some of the same things Saban did. Falcons officials and coaches say Jones, 23, has a work ethic to match his talent. He showed that talent in Atlanta's opening-day win, reeling in six catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Jones now has at least one receiving touchdown in each of his past five games, the longest active streak in the NFL. And now Jones gets ready to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos. Meanwhile, the price that Atlanta surrendered to Cleveland to get Jones can be fully computed. Cleveland turned Atlanta's 2011 first-round pick into defensive tackle Phil Taylor, the Falcons' 2011 second-round pick into Greg Little, the Falcons' 2011 fourth-round pick into fullback Owen Marecic, the Falcons' 2012 first-round pick into quarterback Brandon Weeden, and the extra fourth-round pick as part of the package to trade up for Jones' former Alabama teammate, running back Trent Richardson. Suddenly, the picks Atlanta surrendered don't seem so steep
  11. If you go to Atlanta Falcons website and click on the tab tickets it will let you see your seat virtually. It's pretty cool not a 100% accurate but close enough.
  12. I will be there screaming until I lose my voice..GO FALCONS! BTW, there is a good chance Bronco fans will come out to support since we have a lot in Atlanta. No one in their section better let those donkies cheer harder than YOU!!!!
  13. I always liked Brooking for his tenure here but when I saw that I was so pissed at him. He definitley had a grudge from being released and playing us but I understand that was an emotional game. I forgived him and glad he realized he was wrong..
  14. Man that sucks you have to miss it. I am sure your wife supports you for your passion and I am so glad to have a wife like mine..We will both be there to cheer them on to a win...
