  1. Welcome to Atlanta where the players play
  2. I'm ok with it. I'm curious on the trade what the draft pick point (value) comparison was. never mind ... someone had a topic on it
  3. when Jamie dukes said the falcons might take him at 30 I just about threw up
  4. 1. OROY - Tyler Eifert 2. DROY - Dion Jordan 3. 1st round bust - Bjorn Werner 4. Surprise 1st rounder - Matt Barkley 5. Can't miss prospect - Tyler Eifert 6. Sleeper pick - Knile Davis 7. 100% Falcons draft - Lattimore
  5. only Eifert in the first ... otherwise 4th round or later
  6. did anyone see the Bjorn Werner draft journey? He struck me as pretty 'Luke-warm' I know not everyone is going to have a hallmark story, but he just seemed like he wouldn't care if he was playing football or not.
  7. Mathieu doesn't have something to prove, other than maybe he's not a complete dumb***.
  8. I was thinking about this today. You hear them talking up Millner and ever Mathieu (for Christ's sake), but I don't hear any talk about Rhodes and I haven't seen him in any interviews. Maybe he feels like he has something to prove ... I actually like Rhodes (FSU fan) and if he or Hayden was the pick I'd be ok with it.
  9. thanks. same idea, Carradine is definitely a guy with something to prove. I'd like that pick as well.
  10. I suggested this a while back ... makes more sense in a pass happy league. LBs (traditionally speaking) are a liability.
  11. I'd rather have a guy who is hungry, than someone who has been projected to be talented. It's obviously something you can't always measure ... but assuming the only CB selected is Millner when ATL picks, give me Hayden.
  12. It just seems to make the most sense. Take Eifert, grab a good corner in the 2nd ... then spend the rest of the draft taking the best LB/DL prospects. this is assuming they trade up. A trade down, or staying at 30 of course changes things.
  13. I guess it depends on what player they are wanting. If it is a specific player, or a certain position makes a difference too. I know a lot of people don't agree with this but, I think the target is Eifert. The DE class is deep as is the CB class. There doesn't seem to be a huge disparity between DE #1 and DE #5+. I mean they are talking about Ansah, a guy that just picked up football, as the number 1 pass rusher. The same thing is true for CB. Eifert is the only guy that is head and shoulders above the other players at his position. So DE, CB, TE ... now if they are looking at DT, maybe I could see that being the exception, but IMO TE is the only position worth trading up for. If I'm correct, hopefully he can be had by getting ahead of Chicago.
  14. The more I see/hear from Eifert, the more he looks like one of the top players in this draft
