As I said in the other thread you said all this in, you should back off on he judgment. Collins hasn't had anything negative since 2013. As for LG, they signed several o-linemen and have several possibilities already on the roster. Whether they are viable or not, we don't know but until something is shown differently on the field, I'm going to trust the staff...

I think this is the first draft where I like the first three picks. I think it might have been Mike Smith and the coaches fellas. Our coaches now have an eye for talent and how to feature guys in their system. This could possibly be the best draft we have had in years. I think the only risky one is Jalen Collins but he is a lengthy fast athlete that Quinn likes.

LOL @ LT as a commentator. Said it was a good pick b/c SJax is getting long in the tooth....

Yes, I wouldn't mind that level of progression

I'm fine with this deal, especially if the comp pick part is true. Cahill has been doing pretty well with his new arm slot this spring so he may surprise and this should round out the rotation for the season, plus if he does surprise he can be trade bait at the deadline. They're also paying less than half of his salary this year and they can terminate his option for next season if they want so it's not like they're taking a risk financially. All for a 24 year old A level prospect.

The title is misleading. Just because he is testing the market means he is gone. TD probably has a figure in mind and will let him see his worth in the open market and will match another team offer if reasonable. The best approach not to overpay for his services

This. I was critical of what he said on Twitter, but I have no doubt this is about money, not pride. If they wanted him back before he said that, they wanted him back after. My guess is his agent said "we want $___________, and if we can't get it, he's going to test the market." And my guess is the Falcons responded "let us know how that works out for you."
I'd also wager one side or the other leaked this to pressure the other side, and that negotiations are ongoing.

A friend mentioned on FB but that Jose Constanza had been DFA'd to make room for Gomes.

Now for the arrogant Auburn fan in me - Jay Jacobs is one of the premier AD's in the country right now. Gus, Pearl, Muschamp - can you name another program more committed to winning right now?

Valid points and I don't necessarily disagree with you on many points. I to am disappointed J-Hey is gone. I would have preferred that this trade didn't happen. I also would have liked to have gotten more in return. You could possible be right about getting more for him at he trade deadline.....then again we might not. Who knows what other players, not turning into FA, would be available at trade deadline. j-hey may have gotten hurt or had a worse season so there are risk to waiting until trade deadline. Who knows. I know we had leverage now though. I think Wren was traded due to the situation because otherwise we need CFs. We need prospects and we need speed. As far as LaStella, I don't think we got much for him but then again I'm not sure of what we lost either. I know we have Gosselin, Pastor, Pena and soon Peraza that can play 2B. So im not terrible upset that he was traded even though im not sold on Vizcaino. I do know Braves needed starting pitching and payroll flexibility NOW so they can go into this offseason with choices. That might explain the timing of a trade(s) that may or may not be a good one(s) for the Braves. i also suspect J-hey will do very well in StL under better managerial leadership. And I think we get outbidded for Lester. So who knows, it's early in the offseason.

Oh yes the catcher with a big arm that had trouble finding 2nd but threw it to CF ah reverse the positioning and he becomes the face of the Braves. The combo of Murphy, Horner, Hubbard, & Chambliss. We sucked in the 80's but I loved my team

While it may not have worked out long term I'm very blessed to have played at HOME for the same Organization I was invested in as kid growing up in McDonough, Ga. Played for The Great Bobby Cox, said farewell to a first ballot Hall Of Famer Chipper Jones after an unbelievable career. I made many great friends and became as close as family with most. Thank you for that. Thank you for applauding my effort and passion for the game of baseball. Thank you for acknowledging my love for rockin The "A" on my work hat. Been a pleasure to have called HOME my workplace. As we part ways know that the memories will be carried with me for the rest. Reaching out to say that I won't forget where I'm from and you'll always see me playing the game I love with passion and heart. Knowing and appreciating the fact I had the pleasure of creating heartfelt memories with so many people the past 5 years. Thank you again for your heart, thank you for the motivation and excitement.

    THANK YOU for the LOVE

I've been tracking player visits over on reddit and the Falcoholic and I've been entering them into a spreadsheet with all their info and measurables included. I wanted something I could print out for draft day and I figured there has to been more people out there that would like the same thing. I've gotten a positive response from them and I thought you guys might like it too.

There are two sheets to look at. One is sorted by position primarily (and projected round secondarily) and the other is sorted by projected round. I couldn't decide which was more useful so I just did both.
I owe you guys a thanks for keeping up this list too. I came across it about a week ago and was able to fill in seven or eight names I'd missed. So thanks!

Falcons looking at another big, bruising Fullback, Jay Prosch from Auburn......which makes me happy. A fundamentally sound blocking fulllback will help with any run blocking discrepancies. Prosch would improve blocking and toughness. Limited carries and pass catching at Auburn though...

"While Auburn players went through the 11th practice of the spring Thursday, Prosch was working out for the Atlanta Falcons. The next snap he takes will be in the NFL. Auburn coaches are search for his successor, or successors."

So, I'm gonna try and do articles on each one of these guys as the Falcons show interest in them. May not be amazing, but it's something to help. hopefully I get around 100 of them done by draft day.
