  1. regardless of how they act, when people act with class what does it say about the person who is himself classless when pointing it out? that right there is the Mirriam-Webster definition of ironic
  2. Kinda ironic that he is pointing out fans that showed class by wishing his team's coach well while having no class of his own by referring to them as Taints
  3. Looks like the NBA has killed the deal to send Chris Paul to the Clippers as well I think it is pretty obvious that the NBA has the intention of moving the Hornets at this point
  4. so everything is ok? or are we still waiting
  5. John Stockton was a dirty little dude too and Bill Laimbeer was a bad *** until he threw an elbow into The Chief
  6. your honesty is noted and appreciated
  7. there is a huge problem with Denver and Tebow and I promise you it is in the mind of ownership and coaches. no matter what they tell people, there is a lot of doubt in their mind if Tebow is going to be able to be successful for the long haul and the more they go all in to build an offense around Tebow's style of play the bigger hole they dig for themselves if/when he doesn't work out because he requires a completely different system
  8. sometimes we do actually like to talk football and strategy....its a nice departure from smack talk
  9. Dude...I am a Saints fan. Unlike you, I am not a blind homer who can't see or ignores when my team does something wrong.
  10. two boneheaded decisions at the end. the first one was obvious. even with Brees, you run the ball on third down and trust your defense to be able to stop them from driving at least 80 yards with no timeouts in less than a minute the second was on that last punt. Tennessee got called for 12 men on the field. The play resulted in Tennessee having the ball at about the 20 yard line because Payton declined the penalty. He should have accepted the penalty and punted again. Even if the ball had gone into the endzone they don't gain field position and you would have knocked 7-10 seconds off the clock with the punt play
  11. the tools are all there. He needs to just focus on himself and not everyone else
  12. Ryan is smart and has at least adequate arm strength....it is a bit of a mystery as to why they haven't brought in a dedicated QB coach unless they are afraid of making him worse by getting him to change his mechanics
  13. I have been bringing this up since Ryan's second year and every time I have been bashed or had someone post a couple of .gif files that are actually the exception to his norm http://boards.atlantafalcons.com/topic/3936714-interesting-little-tidbit-on-mattys-deep-ball/page__st__20 I am sure he has the arm strength, but there is something wrong with his motion or release....long passes are not supposed to look like mortar shots
  14. A pearl necklace. She wanna pearl necklace. She wanna pearl necklace.
  15. thats right....my bad. I was thinking just Chicago and Tennessee but forgot about Houston as far as common opponents go Falcons would have to win out with the Saints dropping 3 of 4.
  16. what I meant is that if the Saints lose to Tennessee and Atlanta and the Falcons win out I expect the Saints to win, but it isn't like it would be a massive shocker if Tennessee won with the way they have been playing and our defense
  17. things would get interesting if Atlanta won out and the Saints dropped the next two head to head would be a split division record equal common opponents equal conference record equal Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Strength of victory. Strength of schedule. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. Best net points in common games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games. Coin toss
  18. nice this lady was the second attorney we went to. the first one didn't even show up for our 'hearing'. I was afraid she was going to be a bit too laid back, but as soon as she confirmed everything we told her, she turned into a pit bull. She loves looking out for the little guy. She has taken down two state boards and, while it was officially recorded as a loss, her suit against the Louisiana Bar resulted in the changes she was looking for so I would count it as a win
  19. I gotta agree....this is a tough game for the Saints and I see a close game either way. Titans are playing their best football of the season and I don't know that we have an answer for Chris Johnson now that he is clicking
  20. its a horrible move. if the NBA wanted parity, they had a chance to address it during the lockout but the only thing they addressed was money. Do you really think CP3 won't go to the team of his choice once he is a free agent? so here are our two options 1)CP3 plays for a lame duck team this year, then goes to whatever team he wants leaving the Hornets with nothing that can make them competitive. 2)CP3 gets traded to the Lakers and the Hornets get some pretty good players and a first round pick to build on. Also, making sure the Hornets are the most pathetic franchise by assuring they get nothing in return for one of the best players in the league leaving will not help to get the team sold. There are people interested and they would be far more interested if it looked like the Hornets were going to be able to have a pretty good team instead of this limbo they are in now
  21. Where can you find a good lawyer? The cemetery! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! seriously tho....if it weren't for our attorney, some power hungry ***** at the state level would have put us out of business. I used to bust out laughing at her letters....the thinly veiled threats and condescension were hilarious. The ultimate was when she told the attorney for the state that judging from her knowledge of procedural law, she must have gotten her degree out of a cereal box.
