Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that Chester has lined up visits with the Eagles and Falcons. The Eagles know Chester well after facing the Redskins eight times in Chester’s four seasons with his old team. They released Todd Herremans early in the offseason and gave Evan Mathis the chance to

  5. Jacquizz Rodgers visiting Bears Posted by Josh Alper on March 31, 2015, 11:29 AM EDTAPThe Bears have Matt Forte and Ka’Deem Carey on the top two rungs of their running back depth chart and it appears they’re open to adding a little veteran depth to go with that duo. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Jacquizz Rodgers is visiting with the Bears. Rodgers spent four years with the Falcons after Atlanta drafted him in the fifth round of the 2011 draft. Rodgers was of most use in the passing game during his tenure with the Falcons, catching 155 passes for 1,104 yards and five touchdowns while a

  7. So I get to work this AM and one of my co-workers, a rabid Seahawks fan jumps up and with all seriousness, BLAMES THE ATLANTA FALCONS for his Seahawks losing last night. He claims Arthur Blank took the focus away from Dan Quinn which trickled down to the players and evidently to Coach Carroll who made the "Smith-esque" call... Cannot make this stuff up!
  8. Just "pretty sure" huh? Gotta admit, it sure a shyt resembles him. Maybe this is his dopledanger...

  10. http://www.ajc.com/news/sports/football/falcons-rb-devonta-freeman-injured-in-practice/ngzTg/ The Atlanta Journal-Constitution FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons rookie running back Devonta Freeman left the field with an undisclosed injury and did not return to practice on Monday. “I don’t know exactly what happened,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “He left the field and was not able to come back out. I don’t think it’s anything serious. But we’ll know a little more in the next hour or two.” Freeman, a fourth-round draft pick, accounted for 107 total yards on 11 touches in the exhibition opener against
  11. http://profootballta...t-on-matt-ryan/ Arthur Blank “bothered” at Falcons’ reaction to a hit on Matt Ryan Posted by Michael David Smith on April 8, 2014, 2:10 PM EDT AP During a game last season, Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro was flagged for a cheap shot on Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Falcons owner Arthur Blank is still mad about that — and not just at Vaccaro. Blank told 680 The Fan that he was angered that none of Ryan’s teammates stepped in to say anything to Vaccaro about it, and that the Falcons need to be tougher than they showed. “And that play really bothered me, sincerely,” Blan
  12. I really think they didn't want Bush bringing their new defensive plans to ATL. Which is a pretty low move considering the guy wanted out and could have been utilized more than he will be there. Shady organization will do anything to win.
  13. That's an excellent point. So can we say the Aint's were Dimitroff'd? lol
  14. Then skip the thread - some of us don't sit all day on TAFT reading and commenting... Let those of us still interested do what we do, and you go kick some rocks. No one is forcing you to read...lol #SMDH
  15. WTF else is there to talk about? You're freaking out more than anyone else... dude.
  16. Got it, thanks. I was under impression it went back and forth until someone bowed out. Kind of a shame the kid came out and stated he wanted the Aint's to let him walk and they still bring him in. I think had another team been in on him, they would have let him walk - but the first year of their new defense, I think they felt they needed to pay to keep the information within. He would have been a good fit, but we'll be aight. Meanwhile, the Aint's are running on empty $$ wise...
  17. No, you're right. My B. I was thinking there was more back and forth that could be done.
  18. I'm not so sure... Bush does not want to play for them. Probably just doesn't want Defensive secrets in the hands of ATL. If we want Bush we can pay to get him... More than the Aint's can at that. Now we will see if TD really wants him or not... either way, the ball is in our court.
