  1. Whatever the case. I have said my opinion here. Love it or hate it. I think I am out of here for good. Have a great season FALCONS FANS!!!!!!!!!!!! GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Really? So you want to show naked people covering their privates in your avy and cartoons as a reply........ Oh well.................. Whatever..............
  3. In all honesty, It very well might be. Given the current status of the NFL being exposed where teams goes and their players mentality, who knows.........
  4. So, the Fact that I questioned the Falcons NOT going 100% all out in a game that more or less DOES NOT MATTER because it is NON DIVISIONAL and probably makes no sense for them to go all in 100% to win makes me STUPID? Okay, if it makes you feel good as a person for flaming me for having an opinion then okay. Whatever. I watched ALL of the Falcons vs. Bengals game, and it looked completely like the Falcons were not very interested in this game at all, they were just trying to experiment with a few plays. Pretty much that was it. The Thursday game is what matters the most vs. the Bucs. It's a divisional game. We shall see........
  5. Uh, and those TEAMS HAVE A GAME ON THURSDAY ALSO??? Hmmm, What's more important, a divisional rival game on Thursday, or a none conference game on Sunday before that game? I think the Thursday game..........
  6. I felt like the Whole FALCONS team was not 100% in on trying to win this game, nor was the coaching staff and the powers that be. They seemed to be more interested in being tourist rather than winning an NFL game, and considering it was an out of conference game and they play the BUCS 4 days later that is kinda understandable. I mean why get the team beaten and banged up when you have a more important game a few days later. I got made a Joke of for mentioning such things a few days ago, as to more or less HOW DO YOU PREPARE with such close games. Either way. Falcons had to travel all the way up north, bucs just have to travel one state over. So I suspect Jet Lag will play a part in the Thursday game regardless of it being a home game or not. We shall see. Season ain't over, and it should be noted that more bengal players went out with injury than Falcons players that I saw playing today, while injury is never a good thing, perhaps the getting TOUGHER thing has had an impact. Or perhaps the Falcons are banged up and the players DO NOT WANT TO SAY SO because they don't wanna appear SOFT. That being said, it could be said that : Then again maybe some of them are just not that good to start with, my pic for that would be Lamar Holmes..... Not knocking the Falcons, just questioning a few things and voicing my own opinions here. Season ain't over, season is just beginning........ GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. That's what I was trying to ask, sit the starters who might be banged up for Sunday in favor of Thursday but I ask the question the wrong way.
  8. I just realized that the Falcons play another game just 4 days after tomorrows game on Thursday Night! This makes me have multiple thoughts as a fan as to how they should approach the game vs. the Bengals. I mean you play to win the game. But then again, the Thursday game will be a Divisional game, which is more important. So do you rest your best players or do you play them? Yeah you always play to win the game, but like I said a division game is ALWAYS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE'S TO WIN!!!!!!! Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the way you handle the situation given the time factor and day's is GO ALL OUT and give it your all!!! The mark of a true champion is to never fear the situation, regardless of the opponent!!!! Thoughts on this scheduled game???? GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. LOL!!! Yeah that would be messed up..... Honestly, I just don't see Quizz being a possibility, he's still the same height.
  10. YOU nailed it bro!!!! Thank you Sir!!!!!!!!
  11. I hope John Abraham as a PERSON, And NFL Player get's well soon and get's some help. The reports as of late are that he is suffering from concussion problems and is having trouble remembering things. Aside from those reports I have heard, it doesn't matter to me what uniform he is in. Just hearing about a person having problems like memory loss and concussion and stuff like that, it doesn't matter to me what uniform they are in, I empathize with them and their family and their situation and hope they get better! It should be noted that John Abraham in his PRIME CHOSE ATLANTA as his home as a high caliber free agent a few years ago. Either way. I hope John Abraham get's well soon, NFL Aside. I DO NOT KNOW THE MAN and suspect all his life problems are related to playing in the NFL and wish him the best!
  12. Just wanted to say KUDOS to the FALCONS offensive line vs. the sAint's on sunday!!!!!!!!!! They really stepped it up, especially after their number one pick Jake Mathews went down with an injury. They done a really great job in my opinion. Yeah Matt Ryan was sacked ONE TIME but considering last year and this year that's a great improvement!!!!!!!! GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Isn't it great to have all these possible options with the Falcons and the players they have on offense? You just mentioned something I never took into consideration and it's a great idea in my opinion, HESTER in the backfield that is. I think the Falcons O-Line done a great Job vs the sAint's. Even after Jake Mathews went down, but Mathews done an awesome job before going outa the game.. And unless I missed something here on the forums I haven't seen anyone giving the offensive line Kudos for doing a great job. They deserve it, the O-Line did a great job in my opinion vs. the sAint's on Sunday. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I tend to agree with most everything you say TheFatboi. I am thinking with this line up of RB's and the Rotation makes things confusing for defenses. Before when the Falcons put a certain RB in the backfield there was an obvious attempt at running the ball or possible screen, very scripted in the past that is. Now with a rotational RB situation, not only do you get fresh players running the ball, but you also don't giveaway your passing game. I liked the way the Falcons handled things on offense in the first game of this season. Honestly, I wish the Falcons after watching the first game of this season would just commit Devin Hester to a Slot position along with Harry Douglass or use two slot WR's, go 4 wide all the time or at the very least rotate between the WR's to keep them fresh on the field. Or that is, Let somebody else return the football because it's obvious they are not going to give Hester a chance to return anything knowing his reputation for returning the football with their kicks. Put somebody with sure hands back there and keep Hester ready to roll as a WR in my opinion. I like this rotational offense the Falcons have got going on. Especially when I look back to the days when Mike Mularkey was the offensive coordinator, that was a JOKE! All his play calling for the Falcons then were SCRIPTED. And I pointed that out over and over and over. And I'll say it again, KUDOS to JAY ADAMS because he called him out in an interview for having SCRIPTED PLAYS. Sorry to get outa context on this thread here. Apologies to the OP. But I will end this reply by saying : When something's working for ya, why would you want to break it up? You aren't going to maximize your options by spreading around your wealths, or in other words you DO NOT MAKE A TEAM BETTER BY GIVING AWAY YOUR PLAYERS WHO HAVE BEEN MAKING THE PLAYS AND TEAM BETTER. JMO........
  15. Tandy, I am thinking that the girl is in denial, or perhaps scared to step forward as to how she's been treated the whole time she's been with him. I suspect people who have been abused by someone might feel that way, like there is no way out and they must follow the rules. Very sad............ What do you think?
  16. As much as I am a HOMER and do not like the sAint's. I must say it was a hard fought game. I ain't gonna lie and try and brag about a very close game just because the Falcons won it, it was a game that almost got away from the Falcons after the Julio Jones fumble. This probably was one of the greatest games sAint's vs. Falcons that I have seen in years. Something I saw in the game was something very new. Not just new players. But adjustments with the entire team that actually worked unlike the past. When J. Mathews went down I though the Falcons were doomed. But the backups stepped in and did a great job against a top 5 defense from last season in the league. Anyway, these are my thoughts on the game. Falcons offense is probably 1st int he league in my opinion if the O-line holds up. And the secondary of the defense done a great job. SOMETHING I NOTICED : Drew brees ALWAYS waste no time with a play, he takes 3 steps and already knows where he's going. I think if it wasn't for Matt Ryan's scrambling the Falcons might have lost that game. Different styles no doubt. But something I think the Falcons should take into consideration with all the weapons they have at WR now back healthy and new players. Quick 3 drop back step slant plays? What do ya think. Really no purpose to this thread except my opinion. Please post your own opinions also in ONE POST. As a fan I think it would be great to have a "RUN DOWN" type of pinned thread for games on a persons opinions on games. One post, nothing else. Thoughts?
  17. DANG RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!! RISE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Really? Really? If he does or does not then what difference does it make. You aren't ENTITLED to NOTHING. Blank is a Billionaire and you either root for the team and watch or you don't. That's the harsh reality of things. Paid for fans or haters. As for who I am, I like the team, don't buy the drama and roll with the punches. : I am a real ATLANTA FALCONS FAN that is BTW......
  19. Just wanted to say : GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Like many of you I have been waiting for this day for a while now. We all know what this Falcons team is capable of. It really is time, like the Rise Up theme says. It really is. I didn't like that theme at first. But I never really felt we had a team to add to it UNTIL NOW. The Falcons organization has grown up I believe. We shall see today. What get's me is the way the pundits measure their view of the NFC South by looking at the sAint's first as the measuring stick so to speak where this division goes, with no acknowledgment as to how the Falcons historically have a better winning record against that team. Respect is earned, but I'll say one thing, over the years even though I am a HOMER so to speak, the FALCONS have been screwed by multiple calls, especially in playoff games. But rather than get into all that, I would rather concentrate on this game. The past is the past. It is TIME. Something I must say though. While I can't stand the sAint's or Bucs or Panthers, the NFC South thanks to those teams reputation has made it a division where all the best drama and action goes on. And I should mention there has never been a back to back NFC SOUTH divisional winner. Let's hope this is the start of something for the Falcons. My favorite player is Julio Jones, I can't say enough good things about Julio. He has helped people in need that never gets mentioned. When the tornadoes hit Alabama a couple years ago he went out of his way when he didn't have to and was there helping to unload trucks and whatever needed to be done to assist people like you and me. This is why he is my favorite Atlanta Falcon player. What's the point of this thread? IT IS QUITE SIMPLE ::::::::::::: IF you are a FALCONS FAN RISE UP AND REPLY WITH YOUR OWN GO FALCONS POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I just watched the show First Take and Skip Bayless said the sAint's would win Sunday by 14 34-20, while Stephen A. Smith said the sAint's would win Sunday by 8 30-22. While I don't put too much stock in that show's predictions I must say the last time Skip Bayless picked Atlanta to win a game they lost. It seems like every time they pick Atlanta to lose on that show they end up eating crow. The more I think of it, I have not seen any sports reporters or NFL analyst picking the Falcons to win Sunday against the sAint's. Have you? I'm looking back at last season and even with all the injuries last the Falcons still kept both games close, losing the Nov. 21'st game 17 -13 and the Sept 8 game 23-17. Both games were close. Especially looking at the November 21'st game considering the shape the Falcons were in with all the injuries at that point they still kept the game close. I feel like the Falcons revamped O-line and thinking it has got to be an improvement over last season, and the same with the revamped D-line. Factor into that a healthy Julio Jones, Roddy White, Steven Jackson, and the additions of players like Hester, Freeman, Hageman and I feel good about the Falcons chances on winning this game. I know Freeman and Hageman are rookies and will have their growing pains in this league, but I do believe they will play a factor in contributing to the Falcons success this year. I get the impression that most of the sports reporters seem to think the sAint's are just going to waltz into the Georgia Dome and blow out the Falcons, even knowing this is a heated division rilvary game and is almost always a close game in recent years. Come to think of it, most all the sport reporters I have read articles for or seen on TV have more or less said the sAint's are going to runaway easily with the division. I think after Sunday a lot of the opinions around the NFL where the Falcons are concerned are going to change. While I get the fact that a lot of those analyst are basing their opinions on the Falcons unproven lines, the fact that you have healthy players out there playing those lines should be an improvement over last season regardless, and like I mentioned earlier, even banged up on almost every area of the field the Falcons still manage to keep the games close last season. I know these are things everyone on here realizes, but the main thing I wanted to ask was if you have heard any sports reporters or NFL analyst picking the Falcons to win Sunday? We shall see Sunday.... GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. I dunno, we shall see. As much as I hate to say it, I consider them evenly matched. I give the edge on height and size to Toilolo, but you have to give the edge to Lofton when it comes to experience.
