So I can’t say that UGA’s system will better prepare you for the NFL (as well as competition faced)?

Am I forgetting an OSU QB that is currently playing in the NFL?

You won’t change his mind. His kid went to high school with fields so he can do no wrong.

I’m so glad I never got emotionally invested in this season with everything else going on. The pain is still real tho ☹️
This board is probably going to be filled with the trolls and the haters for the next couple weeks. They’re already coming out of the woodwork tonight.

How do you lose faith in your starting QB in less than a half of football? Did you see anything from Mathis that made you think this isn't the guy? I sure didn't. But it's been pretty obvious with Bennett. He has been a turnover machine his entire career those problems have resurfaced the last couple weeks. Stetson is in the game as a game manager and if he's turning the ball over, he doesn't provide much benefit to this team.

The more Stetson continues to turn the ball over the less excuses Kirby has for keeping him in the game.

If Bennett is our QB again the whole rematch thing won’t matter. I like the kid but he’s not good enough to beat Bama plain and simple. We don’t have a QB on the roster, at this moment, who is capable of beating Bama. I think we’re one QB and one stud receiver away from competing this year. By the end of the year, Burton may step up to be that guy at WR but we need someone to step up in a major way at QB or the rest of the talent won’t matter.

The comments aren’t out of context. He tried to backtrack after the fact. He clearly said if he didn’t play in the NC game he was going to transfer. What does that have to do with the 4th quarter program? Nothing.

The difference in the two programs right now is that Tua stuck it out and Fields quit. I’m not sure how either player's decision is ultimately either coach’s fault. Tua also didn’t act like a spoiled, entitled child in practice and around his teammates and by all accounts he showed out over Hurts in practice. Different story for Fields.

Neither QBs freshman numbers were statistically significant for snaps over the course of the season so that’s a pointless to make that argument about Tua getting so much more game action than Fields. Again, according to Tua’s own comments it wasn’t enough to keep him there.

The difference was that Tua showed out in practice to the point that Saban felt comfortable enough to put him in the game when it mattered. Clearly, based off practice performance, Kirby didn’t think Fields had proven enough to turn things around for us against LSU or for the rest of the season. Can anybody honestly watch Kirby Smart on the sideline with all that passion and emotion and tell me he’s not going to do everything he can to win a game? I don’t think so.

I don’t know why anyone from either side brought Fields into this discussion. By his own choice he’s not on Georgia’s roster so there’s no reason to even bring his name up unless it’s a discussion on OSU.

I think we’re gonna see a lot of soft coverage and deep safety help most of the game. Our biggest weakness has been giving up big plays in the passing game and Mac jones throws the deep ball as good as Tua if not better. I think Kirby will force them to put long drive together and use the short field going into the red zone as an advantage.

offensively we need to street balanced but we absolutely have to establish the run game. If we can get up early and play with a lead we can sic the kraken that is our lb core after the qb and let them take the game over. Our front 7 is talented and athletic enough to overwhelm anyone, including Alabama, if they can pin their ears back and attack the qb.

I can see this being a 28-27 triple win for the dogs with a strip sack to close it out or a 35-24 game for the tide if we can’t contain their passing game.

Agree on this. I think that big hit shook him up early and may have rattled him a little. I said after the first drive the oline was going to be a big concern. We have big road hauler lineman from the Pittman regime and we’re trying to run a spread offense. I think the line will struggle for a while.

So to sum up your arguments so far:
    - two wrongs don’t make a right
    - I’m rubber your glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

you do realize you’re in an internet message board with grown *** men and not in a 3rd grade classroom right?

Having a white slot receiver named McHonkey is like something I’d do if I were writing a New England Patriots parody so I’m all for him signing on.
