  1. stream quality is kinda bad they look like they were in a 2-4-5 anyone know ?
  2. It has nothing to do with size. Our Run defense was fine last season, our pass defense was absolutely terrible. The point of moving Jones to the Will or whatever they are calling the weakside ilb, is to allow them to be multiple and use more creeper pressures. In a 3-4 defense, more so than a 4-3 your coverage dictates the front, and if pees is following the pattern for the league there will be a lot of 5/6 man boxes The will backer has a huge role in making the defense multiple
  3. Moving Deion Jones to the Will gives them more flexibility than having him at Mike/Mac . Especially if they run any variation of a light box look for pass happy teams.
  4. Anyone else think the AFC and NFC have different styles of football and this seems like AS bringing the AFC style to Atlanta
  5. Its because of how tall he is, everything looks slower until you see game speed vs defenders.
  6. that zone footwork.. so nice.
  7. The amount of teaching i am seeing from these new coaches is beautiful. Even the way they explain things is different.
  8. This goes back to coaching and play design IMO. Yes he has to make the reads in game but you also have to give him examples of those looks in practice, and you have design plays that have similar eye patterns. Just looking at some of those plays the designs are good but they seem slow and late developing with the main concept of the play being the later reads. It makes sense but it just seems like it takes to much team to read thus when you feel pressure your outlet is in the MOF ? that just seems off. This also is what it looks like when you review what went wrong but you never physically show the looks in practice.
  9. I love how straight forward everything else and how clear the players about they know the expectations.
  10. Yea he will likely, just handle all the paper work involved in preparation coming up with the signals and etc.
  11. The culture created by those head coaches was mentally weak. They created a mental barrier about the "playoffs" and each time this mental barrier created to much adversity for them to overcome. Fastforwad to Quinn, he teams did fine in the playoffs but their mental breakdown was closing out games you can see the team mentally go "omg not again" late in games and it just created a domino effect of failure. These are all signs of lack of mental toughness which is a sign of a weak culture for a football team.
  12. Honestly 3-4 schematically is the most multiple front to run, if you stunt a 3-4 to strong or weak it just turns into a 4-2-5/4-4
  13. You thinking Iowa 335 with the actual 3 high look and broken stack ? or the regular 335 stack ?
  14. the 40 time was added to help measure players for special teams coverage. Even though people treat it as the end all be all you never really run with the same conditions in a game.
  15. If i had the resources i would conduct a study on the % of veterans that are now police and if there is any correlation to increased policy shootings .
  16. Nah i dont think so. Something I think is the biggest difference between Brady and Ryan is Brady is willing to be the bad guy. He clearly has a edge that Ryan does not have. I could see Brady checking to a run (he did it last night) despite what the call is.
