  1. So, a troll hops on the boards, lights the fire on a trash thread, then logs off and watches.  Fast forward four hours and we have some people taking it seriously, some people arguing politics, and one worthwhile quote about Matt Ryan's arm vs. a Delta flight?  Seems about right, carry on TATF...

Well played Establishment Troll, well played...

Here's an article from some hack ESPN butt wipe...

What the shortsighted idiots at ESPN fail to realize is that Belichick would feast on a team with a below average defense and two rookies leading the offense.  The Cowboys have played a cupcake schedule, and are not varied enough on offense to offset the scheming that BB would unleash.  Sure, the names are great for headlines, but the game would be a blowout and Brady would get ring # 5 without a sweat.

I honestly believe that the play-calling on offense and the variety of weapons that have been used this season would make the Falcons Patriots match-up a lot more competitive.  Plus it would keep alive the theme of #1 offense vs #1 defense that has done well these past few years.

He's a Stanford kid. Seriously doubt he'll declare. Degree first. I could be wrong. I thought Goff should have stayed one more year at Cal to try and win some big games and polish.

Smart kids make smart decisions. The players in the top 2 rounds will declare, the borderline ones may not. But after Stanford's QB shredded his ACL tonight, I doubt anybody on the team who was undecided would end up coming back.

Who knows though, I always cheered on Cal...

  4. Yeah, let him be a bigger name and continue this success for a year or two before he has a serious chance to win DPOY.  He is having an amazing season, and not winning that award will do nothing to tarnish that.  It is simply a name recognition award at a certain level.

How autistic do you have to be to not just admit you were wrong about one very unimportant thing? Very.

I don't know, but if you don't respond and simply sit back and watch the meltdown, it's pretty comical.

I am 90% sure FFS1970 thinks Biff's sports almanac wealth strategy has some real world basis.

"see... i told you after I saw it happened that it was going to happen..." is basically what is arguing now, because his actual plan would have failed.

You know, I have a special place in my heart for hatred of the Saints, but as someone who has lived in the SF area since the late 80's, I really hate the niners.  Having had to deal with Joe Montana and Steve Young for 15 years of football in the old NFC West has made me relish their past 15 years of mediocrity.

I remember watching this in person at Candlestick and it still might be my favorite memory from a football game ever:

I'm more concerned about the run defense coming off a mini-bye....

Defense has been an issue for 2 years with a defensive guru.

    Whats wrong with this picture?

The defense has been garbage for way more than 2 years.  I think another off season will help get the personnel in there, but there is no expectation that it will get much better this season.

I wonder if the Broncos and the Cali teams will have an advantage attracting free agents who are recreational users, given that the money is close.

The league, like any business, is free to ban what they want.  States making things legal has no effect on that.
