Donald is still an awful human being, but I hope he can become a great president. I hope he surrounds himself with experienced people (NOT Guiliani) and LISTENS to them.

I just hope he delegates most of his duties to his betters.  I would just worry if it was a Bush 43 situation where those he surrounded himself with did not have the interests of the people in mind.

I really don't see any up in comers in their party.  Maybe they groom Michelle for the next go around?

That would be a terrible look.  This whole political monarchy thing has turned off a lot of voters.  If the republicans go full Mike Smith and give this election away, the worst thing they could do is try to trot out Jeb in 2020.

the fact is.... trump had to win ohio, florida, and nc.... he's winning all three. he also had to win one of minnesota, michigan, wisconsin, and pennsylvania... he's winning 2 of those. trump is in a very good position.

All true, but the urban centers tend to report later no?  If trump wins this thing, the biggest winner will be the LA Times/USC poll...

  4. I don't normally participate in the politics down here, but is anyone else getting the feeling that the NY Times is playing the long con?  I don't see what they are seeing right now to justify that percentage for Trump to win.

Either way, I don't think there was ever going to be a happy ending for this election, no matter who the next POTUS is :/

I've got to be the only one on this board that hate the niners more than the Saints..  Saints are just annoying..

I grew up going to Candlestick to watch Steve Young and Joe Montana crap on the Falcons, so I know where you are coming from, but I still was rooting for the niners on Sunday (and against them every other weekend).

  6. My sincerest condolences, I know what you are going through, and I promise it gets better.  Be there for your family, and keep love in your heart.

I lost my dad almost a year ago today, and he used to watch Falcons games with me even though he wasn't a fan, and I would watch UVA games with him just to spend time together.  Now I get to watch both and think of him fondly whenever they play, regardless of the outcome.  It isn't easy, and it isn't quick, but you will find some peace and start finding the happy memories in everything.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

    5. Atlanta (4-2). LW: 4. We can all agree, the Falcons got robbed. Still don’t think pass interference should be reviewable. This was an egregious miss, but as a matter of course, judgment calls shouldn’t be held up to slow motion.

I agree with him.  Bad facts make bad case law.  Just because a rule change may have helped the Falcons in this narrow instance, doesn't preclude a new loss to the league and the Falcons with a rule change allowing PI reviews.  It sucks, but it is what it is.

I just wish the league would actually send out memo's on players that commit a lot of fouls, not just dirty players like Burfect.

Yes, it's okay if it is within a certain time limit. Besides, he didn't deliberately try to injure your QB like your lineman did him.

Are you a troll? You can't be a real Seahawks fan because a real fan would know your OL uses the exact same scheme as the Falcons. Nothing matthews did was illegal, just like when your OL does the same thing.

Maybe you aren't a troll. Maybe you just think paint chips are a snack.
