  1. Happens to us all regardless of profession... we do it for so long that we slowly just want to get it over with so we can go home. We had some good runs, some great times and met cool people along the way. We used to be motivated, had energy to burn and all that jazz... even came close to some life changing events before getting let down. Sooner or later, reality sets in... our kids matter more, our family matters more... we still go to work, we still put in our hours. But it's just not exciting anymore.
  2. Well dang, guys, thank you - some 9 years late. I'm just now seeing this and it warms me up, fellas. I miss working for you guys.
  3. Man, totally agree. Matt gets the snub because he's not controversial. That's all.
  4. I'm thinking placement in the top 10 implies a team can't win without him. Makes sense... Falcons struggle without Julio. They can win most of the time without Julio, but not the big contests.
  5. Falcons offense is in much better shape than its defense. It makes sense to go D with first pick. Maybe even second as well.
  6. Quinn strikes me as conservative and Dimitroff has learned by now that two 1st round picks doesn't work out in the long run.
  7. The question isn't about Georgia law or league rules... Let me rephrase -- if weed wasn't an issue, do you think he's a worthy football player for our team?
  8. Would you consider Gregory if you knew weed would be legal in two years?
  9. Job openings with the Falcons: http://atlantafalcons.teamworkonline.com/teamwork/jobs/default.cfm
  10. "Are you better off now than you were four years ago." The trick is to answer this question with quantitative data and not qualitative data. The worst thing you can do to your bottom line is let emotions get involved, and this is true with anything. I don't personally feel any better off. However, a look at my 401k returns, debt to income ratio, interest rates, and household budget show that I'm in significantly better shape now than in 2008.
