It's actually sorta what makes Rockstar sandboxes especially like GTA/RDR2 so great is that there isn't some doom clock so ****ing about still feels organic and not immersion breaking.

Zelda would be pissed if she knew how much time Link spent collecting outfits and fishing while Ganon was Biden sniffing her hair (I assume, I haven't actually played a Zelda game in 20 years)

Dutch would probably be mad if he knew how much time I spent hunting birds to get a fancy lad hat.

Her and Vincent are so optional that it's actually kinda jarring to the story if you go back and actually watch how other characters don't really interact with them as much as they should (outside thier personal arc quests) because the writers had to account for the player not recruiting them without shaking up the plot too much, so sometimes you get this Bruce Willis 6th sense effect where they throw in some input but it doesn't actually effect the conversation

    Also Bioware games:

Greybeards: You need to stop Alduin. The world is going to end if you don't.

Me: Look, I need to decorate my dozen houses first.

I am not talking about who is or isn't a strong candidate. I am saying if she had the same percentage as Pete. She would have been the person they rallied around. Pete had no path to win the nomination without a contested convention. Center Left completely blew their chances.

And I'm saying Kamala was never going to get that opportunity since she was a very weak candidate. I have my fair share of negative opinions about Buttigieg but his campaign was very strong, at least in terms of statewide organizing. His problem was that he only spent resources in those states. Meanwhile, Kamala's campaign was as much of a ****show as the candidate.

Nah. Pete and Amy weren't going to get black voters to come out and we both know that. If Kamala had Pete's support in IA/NH, the call would have been made for Biden to drop out instead of Pete/Amy. She would have been the person that they rallied around. As soon as Pete and Amy started to rise, it was obvious that only Bernie and Biden would be able to win outright. Pete and Amy's only chance of winning the nomination was at a contested convention and Bernie killed that with his declaration that the plurality winner of delegates should be the nom in that situation.

Kamala got knocked out by Tulsi of all people and ****posting on twitter. She was never a strong candidate despite all the media adulation she received.

Would have been so awesome if NH and IA picked viable people to support instead of Amy and Pete.

They had their chance after Nevada until the party elite engineered a coalescing around Biden following South Carolina. Now that ship has sailed.
