  1. to me, the ATL is one of my favorite features next to my favorite, the Matte helmet.
  2. Man, this game was something special that never happened. In the Vid Murph shows JJ ignoring JR's crap talk but, at one point he pizzed JJ off (2nd Q I believe). JJ snapped his head around and yelled something at JR and held up some fingers as If the say "MF you ain't beat me once" Two times within the next 3 plays JJ made him look like a rookie. Something changed, JJ was lit and you could see it .I believe JJ was about to make him the poster-child of the week for DBs getting *** whooped ala Pat Pete). Unfortunately, the game took a turn or two that didn't allow it to happen. I love me some playing Mad JJ. that's when he becomes downright unstoppable. If he could maintain that gear/anger for 4q, it just wouldn't be fair to the rest of the league.
  3. This is the logo of a Morning news show in southern Cali, Not a logo of an NFL football team. I'll take our uniforms over anyone's.
  4. And JJ cant get in the endzone as much as the flavor of the moment, cut em complaining about your ferrari because its not a lambo is a nice problem to have.
  5. If they had not drifted from this, Lowes would not exist. Sadly, lowes doesn't do it anymore either. "But the heart of Home Depot was the expertly trained floor associates who could teach customers how to handle a power tool, change a fill valve or lay tile. It wasn’t enough to sell or even tell — associates also had to be able to show"
  6. I remembered you're in NoVa from a convo a long time back. If I still lived there, Instead of Phoenix, we'd def have a Beer my brother.
  7. totally normal, it had already started healing by the time my Pop took me to get an XRay. Just a lump on it now where the two pieces didn't heal back exactly like they were. When I live in VA/MD, it would ache in the beginning of winter each year. Not a steady ache but when I'd go to pick something up that pulled on that pulled on my lower chest, I'd get a quick sharp ache and have to put it down. good thing we have more than one plate in there or it may have been a lot worse.
  8. That's gonna hurt every year when it first gets cold out, for a few years. I broke the bottom plate in my Sternum benching in HS. Got all fired up yelling for a new max (260 or something), primal growl, lift off the rack, loud hissing breathing sounds, BOOOM, CRACK!!!!, AAAAAHHHH, GET IT OFF!!!!. Got so fired up for the up-stroke that I just dropped the bar on my chest from all the way up. To add Salt to the wound, the guy spotting me was our RB. He might have been 5'1 and wasn't strong enough to get the weight off. So, He lifted it up, then set it back on my broken chest to run out of the room to get help.
  9. Here's to hoping your right my brother. I know what kind of S players you like and I'd love to see him become just that.
  10. WOW! another thread that had a fun concept that turned into a Crap on our players thread.
  11. I'm actually very surprised you like him. I checked out his game and vs vids just after we drafted him. I saw the talent/potential but, I saw a guy who avoided contact more than he initiated it. I mean when he's got you lined-up, your getting the dook knocked out of you. I just see a bunch more DeCoud in him. Given, I don't know what they were teaching them at cal and in review I kinda felt the same was with A Davis. Maybe they were doing exactly what was asked.
  12. Sooo, who would they have targeted? I don't see anyone here I would trade Russ for. NFL Draft picks: Round 1 results Pick No. Team Player Position School 1 Browns Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma 2 Giants Saquon Barkley RB Penn State 3 Jets Sam Darnold QB USC 4 Browns Denzel Ward CB Ohio State 5 Broncos Bradley Chubb DE N.C. 13. underrated** and people are posting Lofton and such... DEFENSE: Vic Beasley (in addition to what we have)
  14. I have confidence this dude will make them the best they could possibly be. I think Walker is going to be a good one, I just hope he can cover TEs.
  15. Some see a tough schedule and think the NFL gods are slighting us. I See it as the NFL gods are giving us the chance for greatness. 2016 we rolled through a murders row on the road and kept going. Let's find out early what we're made of and Keep rolling.
  16. Our defense in the first half last year even made debo look bad. A a coach, if you're making arguably the best LB and the league look bad, it's probably you and it's no wonder the rest looked horrid. Still not sure what the plan was, and I'm sure it was genius to some degree but dang!
  17. TD Reached for all of them......LOL! It's amazing that people take these projection and grades so serious. I'm sure this isn't the first time a bad grade was giving to a draft with one or more pro-bowlers.
  18. we are going to love watching this dude play.
  19. do we deserve a participation trophy or something? Why would the media not talk about Tom and Drew. One has been to the NFCC game 3 times in a row and the other's won 7 superbowl (or something like that). The NFCS will be the talk of the NFL this year and not because of us, unless......we sweep two hall of fame QBs. We can either be a side mention or the headline. This year the headline has to be earned by pizzing on Gold blazers...
  20. ok, if I'm really trying. Old broken down ship - most likely the wreckage of last season, It could be what you think of the team currently but, nobody's on the ship so, it looks like part of the past. DQ fiddling with PVC - He's either fiddling with something beyond his capacity and needs help from the team to accomplish the task or you believe he's got a plan that the whole team needs to help him with. In either regard, you have respect for the team coming to the rescue and also indirectly for DQ that his team love him enough to come running to help. Players practicing across the street and not on the 25 acers on DQs property - you feel there's a separation between the coaches and the players. A disconnect despite the recognition above. DQ 1800 sqft house on 25 acres - You feel DQ is a modest every day mans man, normal guy (the house). The 25 acres either represent he's taken on more than he can handle or is a respectful acknowledgment of all that's in his perview. All of it put together means, you're just like the rest of us. You see great things in this team but it's not all clicking and your wondering where the issue is. I have a PHD in cranky ol-fart....LOL! Have a good night sir.
  21. Dreaming about DQ laying Pipe..............Are you really sure you want people to try and interpret this?
  22. I loved the Takk pick, and still do. In that draft though, it should've been obvious to everyone that Watt was far more polished and NFL ready than everyone else.
  23. I wouldn't consider him a bust. I think he's done exactly what I expected him to do in the NFL. It's not his fault the media over-hyped him and Dallas waaaay over-drafted him.
  24. Don't clutter this witch hunt with your lies.......LOL
