I wish he hadn't got hurt. He was an absolute bulldozer when he was healthy. My favorite.

I agree, in no way is he worth  loosing our picks. I like brown, but i'm not sure that i would move up to 11 for him.

I think they just draw names out of a hat.

Lets simplify this and move on. Even though a college runner comes out of college with a lot of carries, he still has a few good years or more as a pro. Most RB's don't last long these days anyway. Get the best back you can and don't worry about the mileage .Even with low carries it doesn't mean he'll have a long carrier. Were're getting too technical . LETS PLAY BALL, besides they won't do what we want anyway.

Don't get me wrong, he would be who i would pick, But i don't consider him the total package. He's fast and a good north south runner and breaks a fair amount of tackles, but i want north south and side to side with more broken tackles..Lateral movement is important to find holes.like Free did early on in his career. Strength to drag a few players down the field (William Andrew, Micheal Turner) did. I may be asking too much, but that's what i consider exceptional.

I was literally within minutes of being drafted into Veitnam Nam . Didn't want to go, but i was going and the draft was called off that day.. I was actually on my way to sign up.when the draft was called off. Already received my papers. My point is, I would have went.

Always liked his style. When he started in boxing, everyone said that his arms were too short to be a boxer. Many fighters claimed that he was the hardest hitter they ever went up against.. If you watch some of those old fights, you'll notice his technique was different from other fighters. He had that crouch which made it hard to get clean hits on him.
