  1. He was injured the most this year. In years past he didnt miss more then 1 one game in a row
  2. Yes he did. It was---------------------------- Michael Mitchell, SS, Ohio Height: 6-0. Weight: 221. Projected 40 Time: 4.48. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.43. Benchx225: 21. Vertical: 37.5. Projected Round (2009): 7-FA.
  3. Zach Follett got cut. I wanted us to draft this guy. I think he will be something special in a couple of years. He was in the PAC Conference which is the same as all the USC guys and had better numbers then all of them. I have no idea why he drafted in the 7th round in the first place. Look below and compare the numbers. ZACH HAD AN AMAZING 23TFL AND FIVE FORCED FUMBLES AND 10 SACKS. I just dont get why he got drafted so much behind the USC guys and now he is getting released. Zack Follett, California Height: 6-2. Weight: 238. Projected 40 Time: 4.60. Combine 40 Time: 4.75. Pro Day 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: 21. Vertical: 37. Projected Round (2009): 4-5. 1/10/09: Voted to the All-Pac 10 First Team, Zack Follet collected 23 TFL, 10.5 sacks, four passes broken up and five forced fumbles. 12/6/08: His production just keeps increasing. After 11 games, Zack Follett has 74 tackles, 17 TFL and 7.5 sacks. He has also forced three fumbles. 5/16/08: A punishing tackler who has a knack for getting to the quarterback. Zack Follett had 6.5 sacks in 2007 after registering 5.5 the year before. Not bad for a linebacker. 2007: Zack Follett had an impressive opening performance to his junior season, registering a sack, forced fumble and a touchdown against Tennessee. Clay Matthews, USC Height: 6-3. Weight: 240. Projected 40 Time: 4.72. Combine 40 Time: 4.67. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.57. Benchx225: 23. Vertical: 35. Projected Round (2009): Top 25 Pick. 2/24/09: Clay Matthews ran well at the 2009 NFL Combine, recording a 4.67. He also had a 35-inch vertical and a 10-1 broad jump. He may have pushed himself into the first round. 1/10/09: A member of the All-Pac 10 Second Team, Clay Matthews (sounds like a guy on American Idol) managed 10.5 TFL, three sacks and six passes broken up. 12/6/08: Finally given the chance, Clay Matthews has given a name for himself, collecting 49 tackles, nine TFL and three sacks. He also has a blocked kick. Brian Cushing, USC Height: 6-3. Weight: 243. Projected 40 Time: 4.70. Combine 40 Time: 4.79. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.68. Benchx225: 30. Vertical: 35. Projected Round (2009): 1-2. 1/10/09: Voted to the AP All-America Second Team. 12/6/08: In a solid senior season for USC, Brian Cushing has 38 tackles, nine TFL and 2.5 sacks going into the UCLA game. He's a late first-round, early second-round prospect. 5/16/08: It seems like Brian Cushing can play any position. He was at strong safety and defensive end previously before moving to strongside linebacker in 2007. He was hindered by an injured ankle last year, so if he stays healthy he's bound to have an incredible 2008 campaign. 2007: Brian Cushing injured his hamstring this spring. He should be fine for the season opener. Cushing, a member of the All-Pac-10 Second Team, has excellent quickness for his size. He collected 4.5 sacks in 2006. Should be able to play inside and outside. Kaluka Maiava, USC Height: 5-11. Weight: 229. Projected 40 Time: 4.63. Combine 40 Time: 4.78. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.68. Benchx225: 30. Vertical: . Projected Round (2009): 4-5. 1/10/09: The "other" USC linebacker, Kaluka Maiava qualified for the All-Pac 10 Second Team, thanks to 66 tackles, 7.5 TFL and five passes broken up. Rey Maualuga, USC Height: 6-2. Weight: 249. Projected 40 Time: 4.68. Combine 40 Time: 4.83*. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.70. Benchx225: 23. Vertical: . Projected Round (2009): Top 25 Pick. 2/24/09: Pay no attention to that 40; Rey Maualuga tweaked a hamstring during the run and had to sit out the rest of the 2009 NFL Combine. 1/10/09: A member of the AP All-America First Team, Rey Maualuga finished the season with 79 tackles, 2.5 TFL and four passes broken up. 12/7/08: The top pure 3-4 inside linebacker in this class, Rey Maualuga qualified for the All-America First Team. Through 10 games, he has 68 tackles, 2.5 TFL and two picks (one returned for a touchdown). 5/11/08: Rey Maualuga put up solid numbers in 2007 despite going through some nagging injuries. Maualuga had 75 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and a fumble recovery. 2007: Slated to be the next great linebacker at USC, Rey Maualuga has the size and speed of a top-15 prospect. Had 78 tackles, two sacks and one pick in 2006, qualifying for the All-Pac-10 First Team.
  4. Adam Shefter is no longer with NFL Network. He is with ESPN now. And no I havent heard it yet.
  5. They could have gotten Macho Harris, Brandon Hughes, Jason McCourty, Mike Mickens, Morgan Trent, Brandon Underwood, Wopamo Osaisai, or Domonique Johnson instead of William Middleton. I think all these guys were better prospects then Middleton IMO. Victor Harris, Virginia Tech Height: 5-11. Weight: 197. Projected 40 Time: 4.52. Combine 40 Time: 4.61. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.46. Benchx225: 13. Vertical: 34. Projected Round (2009): 2-3. 3/22/09: Victor Harris did exactly what he needed to do. Improving upon his awful Combine 40, Harris ran a 4.46 at his Pro Day. 1/13/09: It's a shame Macho Harris' 40 is going to hurt his draft stock a bit. He's very talented, as indicated by his AP All-America Second Team standing. 12/13/08: Macho Harris returned two interceptions for touchdowns this year. He had six picks total, along with seven passes broken up. An All-ACC First Teamer. 5/17/08: A play-maker who has seen time at receiver and kick returner. Like Brandon Flowers, Victory Harris would operate best in the cover-2. 2007: Macho Harris, who had five interceptions as a junior, has decided to stay for his senior season after declaring for the draft. Harris, who doubles as a kick returner, started all 13 games as a sophomore. Brandon Hughes, Oregon State Height: 5-10. Weight: 182. Projected 40 Time: 4.43. Combine 40 Time: 4.50. Pro Day 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: . Vertical: 37. Projected Round (2009): 5-6. 2/25/09: Had a 4.50 40, which amazingly was one of the fastest "official" 40 times at the 2009 NFL Combine. Also had a 10-8 broad jump. 12/13/08: A member of the All-Pac 10 Second Team, Brandon Hughes totaled 34 tackles and a whopping 11 passes broken up in an outstanding senior season. # Jason McCourty, Rutgers Height: 6-0. Weight: 193. Projected 40 Time: 4.44. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.30. Benchx225: 15. Vertical: 36.5. Projected Round (2009): 5-6. 3/29/09: Jason McCourty just ran a 4.30 at Rutgers' Pro Day. He also had a 36.5-inch vertical. 12/13/08: Jason McCourty had an excellent senior campaign for Rutgers. He had 59 tackles and six passes broken up. # Lardarius Webb, Nicholls State Mike Mickens, Cincinnati Height: 6-0. Weight: 186. Projected 40 Time: 4.45. Combine 40 Time: DNP. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.57. Benchx225: DNP. Vertical: 35.5. Projected Round (2009): 3-4. 12/13/08: An All-America third-teamer, Mike Mickens had 66 tackles, nine passes broken up, four interceptions and a pick-six. 7/22/08: Mike Mickens has done a good job putting on some much-needed weight, gaining about 15 pounds in less than a year. 5/17/08: Mickens had six picks and six pass breakups in 2007. A solid kick-returner, Mickens took two interceptions back to the house in his career. I still have concerns about his lacking size. 2007: Named to the All-Big East second team twice in his collegiate career. Mike Mickens has recorded three picks in the first three weeks of the 2007 season. He desperately needs to put on some muscle. Morgan Trent, Michigan Height: 6-1. Weight: 193. Projected 40 Time: 4.47. Combine 40 Time: 4.53. Benchx225: 23. Vertical: 38. Projected Round (2009): 4-5. 12/13/08: One of the bright spots in a miserable Michigan season, Morgan Trent totaled 41 tackles, three picks and 2.5 TFL. 5/17/08: Morgan Trent improved in 2007 after struggling the year before. He had 106 tckles, 18 pass breakups and four interceptions. 2007: I hope Morgan Trent has fire insurance because he's been burnt way too many times this season. Brandon Underwood, FS, Cincinnati Height: 6-1. Weight: 198. Projected 40 Time: 4.50. Combine 40 Time: 4.54. Benchx225: . Vertical: . Projected Round (2009): 6-7. 12/14/08: Part of a talented secondary and the All-Big East First Team, Brandon Underwood compiled 60 tackles, six passes broken up, 3.5 TFL, three interceptions and a pick-six. Wopamo Osaisai, Stanford Height: 5-10. Weight: 197. Projected 40 Time: 4.39. Combine 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: . Vertical: . Projected Round (2009): 7-FA. 12/13/08: An All-Pac 10 second-teamer, Wopamo Osaisai had 67 tackles, 3.5 TFL and eight passes broken up. 5/17/08: Wopamo Osaisai is a track star who has a chance to shine at the combine. He had 45 tackles and eight pass breakups in 2007. 2007: It's hard to pronounce Wopamo Osaisai's name, but I have a feeling casual NFL fans will have to once he enters the NFL. Osaisai, who has a chance to run a low 4.3, currently leads Stanford with pass breakups through four games. He was a starter as a sophomore. Domonique Johnson, CB, Jackson State Height: 6-2. Weight: 188. Projected 40 Time: 4.34. Combine 40 Time: 4.55. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.52. Benchx225: . Vertical: . Projected Round (2009): 5-6. 2/25/09: Yet another poor 40. Something tells me Domonique Johnson will run close to a 4.3 at his Pro Day. 1/13/09: Was an AP Division 1-AA All-America First Team selection. If it weren't for Al Davis, Domonique Johnson would probably be a fourth-round prospect. Johnson will be at the Senior Bowl. 12/13/08: Attention, Al Davis! This man runs a low 4.3! Draft him now! 5/17/08: Let's see... very tall (6-2), very fast (4.34 40) and very annoying to opposing quarterbacks (five picks). Domonique Johnson transferred from Missouri to Jackson State for undisclosed reasons, so that's keeping me from putting him any higher on this list.
  6. Im just saying if he does. Idk and you dont know what going to come of him.
  7. Yea he needs to gain about 20 lbs. That would put him at 224 or even 30lbs he would be Plaxico Burress /Brandon Marshall size. Maybe by next year he could put on at least 15 lbs. He already has a nice forty at 4.49. When he gains that weight he is going to be something special.
  8. Do you guys think he can develop into a good player on the practice squad and make the roster in a couple of years?
  9. I am really high on this guy. I think he can turn out to be a big sleeper. He was projected to be a 1st or 2nd round pick if he came out in the 2008 draft class- but due to mediocre numbers in 2008 compared to his 2007 numbers he dropped to be a fifth/sixth round pick in 2009-but didn't even get drafted at all. In a year or two he could be a solid number 2 receiver. I think he is going to take Brain Finneran's spot by next year if not later this year. He is 6'5 204lbs and runs a 4.49 forty. I hope TD stuck gold by getting him as a UFA. Do you guys think he will make the final 53 man roster? Aaron Kelly, Clemson Height: 6-5. Weight: 204. Projected 40 Time: 4.53. Combine 40 Time: 4.49. Vertical: 38. Broad: . Projected Round (2009): 5-6. 2/23/09: A 4.49 40 and a 38-inch vertical are both impressive at 6-5, 204. 1/4/09: Aaron Kelly struggled like everyone else on Clemson this year, garnering 61 receptions for 648 yards and three scores - a major dropoff from last year. 10/19/08: Maybe Aaron Kelly should have declared early. Kelly had his first 100-yard performance against Georgia Tech, but struggled at times with Cullen Harper tanking. 2007: After declaring for the 2008 NFL Draft, Aaron Kelly has decided to stay for his senior year. Kelly put up great numbers with Cullen Harper emerging as an elite quarterback. Kelly had 88 receptions, 1,081 yards and 11 touchdowns. However, Kelly really needs to improve his 40 if he wants to get drafted in the first two rounds. Aaron Kelly Highlights
