The silliness of this post is that it's possible for one thing to be right without another being wrong. If we improve at all with Beasley, then we made a good decision to draft him. It's possible that we could have made a good decision by drafting Gurley. The problem is not that we screwed up by not drafting Gurley; the problem is that a day after the draft and two months of debate, OP and others cannot move on.
You might be right, but that doesn't make the team wrong.

Please, for the love of God, at least for a little while, take away OP's posting privileges.
Everyone else, like this post if you agree.

OP needs at least a month's reprieve from posting to get this **** out of his system. Anyone else agree?

I Personally believe a good majority of it is completely provoked and instigated by disrespectful posting when it's completely unnecessary.

    I blame Todd Gurley

I have compiled a comprehensive list of all the teams over the last 20 years that selected a RB with a top 10 draft pick and then went on to win a Super Bowl with that RB as their starter.

    OK, ready? Here's the list:

    1) Baltimore Ravens, Jamal Lewis (7th overall)

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Oh, you expected more? Well, how about all the teams over the last 20 years that took a RB anywhere in the 1st round that went on to win a Super Bowl with that RB as their starter?

    1) Baltimore Ravens, Jamal Lewis (7th)
    2) Dallas Cowboys, Emmitt Smith (17th)
    3) Indianapolis Colts, Joseph Addai (30th)

Whew. Did that ever take some time to compile.

Still not satisfied, huh? Well, feast your eyes on this list of RBs who have won the Super Bowl MVP award over the last decade:

    1) n/a

    Umm...

Taking into consideration that three WRs have won that MVP award over the same span, along with how often the "WRs are nothing but shiny hood ornaments" platitude is regurgitated around here, what exactly does all this say about the value of RBs?

Finally, and most importantly, why was it necessary to change "Gurley" to "Gurlie" in order to make it rhyme with "Atlantie"? Wouldn't it have made more sense to just say "Gurley to Atlantey"? Yeah, you're welcome.

he's heIl bent on drafting Gurley at 8 when he can easily be acquired while gaining more picks in the process. The same people who ***** and complain about not having a pass rush for years are willing to pass on the chance to get a top pass rusher for a running back in a year the position is deep as shyt. Can't take the people on this website no more serious than the media should be taken. I'm not a Gurley fan nor do I have anything against him but it's just not worth it at #8. Heck Gregory could probably be had a few spots back as well. Sweet talk Cleveland out of their 2 first rounders and its possible the Falcons could have both IF the Falcons really want both or either

Because burnt and dry semen, urine and blood tastes so much better.
    Well done is for cowards.

Not surprised with DiMarco. Matthews is only news if there's a guarantee that indicates a substantial investment by the organization, which I'm almost certain there isn't.

I've thought of the PSLs as a direct user tax instead of taxing the general population that won't use them. I'm sure most here complaining about PSLs would be a lot more vocal if that money was being pushed onto the state or city. The seats I sit in will be affordable, obviously not club level, thanks for all the info.

Not much else to talk about now. If you like, I could just join the chorus on "____ sux". Fill in the blank with "TD, Blank, PSLs, Atlanta fans, etc".

You can't live a double life and play in the NFL. If you're a thug it will come out. I know a lot of NFL players. None of who are thugs. Public PERCEPTION may say they are thugs but the truth is they don't really know these ppl. Just because a guy has dreads or swag or talks with a certain slang doesn't make them a thug. If you're a professional you're not a thug. A drug dealer that sells weight is not a thug. He's a business man. Like it or not. Thugs are street level. Hernandez was putting in work like a street level thug. As I said there are no thugs in the NFL. Regardless of what you feel about the person. Unless you can show me proof and you know more pro athletes than I do? Smoking weed doesn't maje you a thug, snorting coke doesn't maje you a thug. There are guys that will kick your @ss in the NFL but they're still not a thug. I know ppl that wear suits everyday that will kick the living sh!t out of you and they're white. Doesn't make them a thug. They just don't take no sh!t!! I know a ton of star rappers and not one of them is a thug. They hang with thugs in their entourage but they themselves are not thugs.
You should hang with me sometime in a professional environment so you can see who these ppl areamd then come with me around another element of life that I know. You'll change that tune real quick. It's part of the reason marshawn doesn't do the media. He doesn't let them paint the picture they want to paint. He's a philanthropist not a thug but he comes from an environment with thugs in it. Just like myself and many inner city athletes. Doesn't make them thugs tho and that's the truth of it.
Thugs do not...I repeat thugs DO NOT live a full professional life, retire, keep thugging and live happy ever after. These are men with kids and families. If you're a thug in the NFL or nba or whatever it WILL come out. IE Aaron Hernandez. Your answer is exactly what's wring with America. Still feeding into perceptions and stereo types. So by your professional accesment I'm a thug right?

Anybody notice the huge difference with Dalton there in that 4th down timeout? As opposed to Ryan's ALPHA demeanor decisively calling the plays, Dalton literally just fumbled his words.
