  1. It's scary what you'll find on message boards. These are real human beings we share society with.
  2. SO much passive aggressive behavior on message boards. It's amazing.
  3. Much more reserved about Andre Williams. He pointed out how great Williams was his senior year, despite being the entire Boston College offense...but pointed out that he doesn't have that burst that normally is needed to be an exceptional NFL running back. Interesting point.
  4. Is it that white guy that was sitting next to him on ESPN? That would be way too much even for me and I think he's a hero for coming out.
  5. Sure thing RT. Disruptive, versatile DT/DE with a sky-high upside. A solid runningback with breakout ability who will immediately come in and be part of the rotation. We've rebuilt the entire right side of the offensive line and rebuilt the defensive line this offseason. Really hope we get a quality linebacker with the compensatory pick later in the 4th.
  6. Yeah, but Biermann doesn't like boning other dudes and for some fans, even in 2014, that will matter. I can't even imagine having to deal with opposing fans. I admire the guy for coming out, but I think it's going to be an adjustment for everybody...more than people want to admit.
  7. I'd point out that it is 2014 already, but it is the South. The South is always a few decades behind (I was born and raised in GA...but it is what it is...)
  8. And that's a possible answer, but with other needs like a pass rusher, a tight end, probably a running back, etc. it might not be best to take two safeties (it's going to be really, really hard to find reliable players after the 5th round).
  9. For teams running primarily a 3-4 or a 4-3, I can understand why a tweener would be a deal breaker. But for teams that use both 3-4 and 4-3, why wouldn't a tweener be a good thing? I know I am probably missing something, but what?
  10. I'm actually hopeful about Motta, personally (the kid has a lot of ability). This is our season we're talking about. Lowery is coming off of a season ending concussion. I know you guys are positive. I think we're going to win the Super Bowl next year. Seriously. If we can find somebody we can rely on at safety. I'm not a pessimist when it comes to the Falcons. Far from it. But I'm not convinced we've got what we need st safety.
  11. Probably. Whether or not we could afford to take a really athletic longterm project given what we have on the roster at the position is a reasonable debate. I think.
  12. You know we spend a compensatory pick on him. Probbly would not a bad use of the pick.
