Wilson is upset, because he wasn't given an input on who will Coordinate the Offense. Matt probably should have been pissed about Sark or LeFleur.

Heard on the radio he wants to operate like mahomes also, wants more freedom. They said when they did that though he threw a lot of picks.

It's not coincidence that the 'elite' QB's near Ryan's percentage only have one SB while the ones better than Ryan have multiples. Ryan should have one too but we all know how that went. If Ryan, Rodgers, or Brees had better defenses throughout their careers they'd have the rings like Brady and the Mannings.

Rogers should have been in the super bowl this year. Saints team was good enough to go also.

I get it though. Seems teams outside of Patriots build around elite qb. I can see why they would it. Why pay them that much and not give them weapons? Nature of the beast.

Not sure I have a real take beyond Matt plays well enough to be in these interesting little stat clusters that contain successful QBs. I'm old enough to remember 'journeymen' QBs winning SBs so I've never exactly bought into the idea the QB is the major vector of success for a SB win.

For sure. Im all about building team. Let the carry the qb not the other way. I wonder if it can be done in this nfl now.

Interesting you take this as a 'defend' Matt thread? I'm simply sharing some information I found on Twitter concerning a player on our team. I added nothing to the post that wasn't in the original tweet.

No hate towards your thread thanks for providing the info. What do you take from the info provided? All those qbs have won super bowls With simular or better supporting cast.

I honestly have no clue at this point.

Cases can be made for drafting or not drafting a QB at 4.

If the Falcons do choose to go QB at 4, then Fontenot and Smith will have to make sure to hit on those later picks and FA signings.

I agree. They may not be great but if fields has all the ability coach smith can probably develop him. Tanahill was left for dead before him. At the same time i think they tried to work woth Mariota but he busted. Dont think he has the arm fields has though.

Its really a flip of a coin sadly.

Give him until the draft and most everyone here will turn on him just like they will turn on A Smith. It’s coming - the draft first The GM second the OC third the DC third and AS fourth. It’s coming baby just watch and that’s even if we make thePOs

Its a given, you can't please everyone. I will give them two years.

I mean, you may have a point there. It's inexplicable to me why he's still working in that position. His communication skills are the poorest I have ever encountered in news and media.

Yeah, its bad when you have the question planned and fumble it. I can see if you struggled answers all the questions but giving two? He was a little better with the 2nd one.

Conway or whatever her name is misused a word. I hate her stories and the info she provides.

I feel like there’s always a best in a long time label on prospects each draft. Look at the TEs that have gone high...OJHoward, Eric Ebron, Noah Fant...I just don’t value the position that high TBH. I would much rather take Freiermuth in round 2 who can do it all.

mid actually rather a QB at 4 than Pitts and I’m not for a QB that high, but the positional value helps justify it to me.

Yeah a TE is nice to have but not a deal breaker if you dont have one.  😉
