We got part time mods around these parts. I don’t think any are full time posters anymore. Might be time for another shake up

Were gonna miss him and he’s gonna shine being back with Shanahan in San Fran. That being said, I’m sure his production can be made up with all the WR’s we have, but it’s hard to find any running back that can catch and run like he can. Everyone always raves about what  Kamara does for the Taints, but Coleman was just as good for us.

He averaged 4.8 per carry last year and had a 1,000 total yard season.
I don't think he was a top 10 back but he was an important element to our offense. I mean the guy has had about 950+ total yards and at least 8 TDs per season the last 3 years in a row.
Let's not sit here and pretend he didn't matter guys. Not many back up RBs can put up the numbers he can...

Just curious, why would you quote the article to ask your question?

yeah I agree.   All the TATF'rs that were losing their mind that we didn't take a Defensive player in round 1 - it's like they erased from their memory banks that we were down 3 of our best starters almost all  of 2019.
I certainly believe we need more horses on defense but we are closer to Top 10 than Bottom 5 in defense as currently constituted w/ healthy Debo, Keanu and Rico for the year.

The truth is - there are only about 10 teams in the league that would have a chance in a shootout w/ the Falcons.

I think this is a magnificent take bro. TD has whiffed on O-linemen numerous times and this time doesn’t wanna make the same mistake again. I’m perfectly happy with the picks and the signings. We’ve got plenty of help to throw at the wall and see what sticks as far as mixing and matching protection for Matt now!

They got two dudes that are potential starters on the o-line for Matt Ryan for years to come. If they pan out there will be no more, “We NeEd sOMe O LiNEmeN, Td!” talk that y’all spew when our QB is getting drilled with no time to release the ball. Build through the draft and groom young players. Idk what the problem is. The big names everyone wanted were off the board. If they would have went CB first, this place would have lost their minds worse than they are for the guard pick. LB isn’t the most pressing priority, and we locked up Grady for this coming year and went DT last year by picking Senat. What other route would y’all have wished for them to go? Be happy we have some choices on the O-Line now, our offense is back!

This isn't what I would have done, but there's a very clear strategy to it.
The Falcons have quality skill positions on O and D, and subpar lines.  They've invested multiple first round picks in the DL lately.
They've wanted to draft OL early, but have commented on how difficult it is to project OL, and how it takes awhile for them to transition to the pro game.  They decided they needed to take the steps to make a better OL now.  Without the FA money to "buy" great guys, they put a development plan in place.  They'd go out and get 2 to 3 OL who should be current upgrades and sign them to short contracts.  They'd then be able to get early OL and not have to throw them to the wolves.  They can slot them in as they're ready and have an upgraded OL throughout.
This is the type of thing that happens when a new coach comes in...hire stopgap FA's and double up in the draft.  They decided it was time to remake the OL as if they were starting new after last year's debacle.  Throughout his tenure, Ryan has shown if you give him time, he'll shred you.  And just as clearly, last year we showed we couldn't pick up a 3rd and 1 to save our lives.
So this was the plan it seems.

Personally I would have doubled up on DL and taken one OL.  But at least you have to say this...the Falcons dedicated themselves to fixing the OL now and over the long haul.
