No sane objective person would ask a question like this! This can't be real.

Fan's did not have the power to run any coach out of town. Someone who had power felt like he was the issue.
If fans had power do you think TD would still be be here? DQ?

I will admit Sark and DK really make me miss our June Jones offense days, LOL!

Repeated history has shown this too be a ******** repeated concept all the way back to Randall Cunningham, Jeff Garcia. Cousins sent breeze home, and he wasn't running around like a mad man.

And that's the irony in the article. They cite Brees and Brady as the old guard, but they didn't lose to mobile guys. They both lost to teams with pocket guys...

Just trying to figure out the Tua love, and I am a Bama fan been watching for years and people really like him but he hasn't screamed NFL level passer to me.
and if the days of drop back passers are over, then he wouldn't be drafted cause he isn't dominating by running all over the place.

One of the best things about drafting a QB is you have 4 or 5 years of him on his rookie contract so you can build a great team around them with the extra cash. Seems like a waste of 2 to 3 years to have him sitting on thr bench behind Ryan. Just wait until Ryan is about done and  draft his replacement then

I woudnt classify the Brees/Payton era as an era of dominance.

I disagree with this. This board is like it’s always been. The only difference is the mods have vanished. And THAT is why it’s been awful as of late. It’s  not because of social media. Make no mistake, this place will be full of people again when the preseason starts

Letting Peters get away was one of falcons bigger personnel mistakes during TD era.

Most of the TD detractors needed to be taken down a peg. The TD and Matt Ryan hate on the boards are beyond ridiculous. Coaches make GMs look good. This wasn't a case like the Jets, where Idzik was brought in to trump and reign in Rex Ryan. Good coaching has made guys like Ted Thompson and John Schneider look better than they might be. I believe most people think a coach like Quinn can make TD a better GM.
The hatred for TD has gone to personal levels, like he's some kind of evil saboteur. The vitriol has gone overboard. I have no problem if Gazoo was being a little hyperbolic as a hit on the less reasonable amongst us. His overall point was correct. Quinn's clear vision led to a draft where we saw immediate needs filled that made sense.
As bad as it got with Mike Smith, I always respected him, and loved him as a person. You'd think TD was a child molester reading the posts around here.
