I think your argument for how much of an impact it will have on the game and the validity of the rule are being lumped together and it's the only issue I have with your stance.
I agree with you that overall it won't have a large impact on the game. It won't extend it.
That alone doesn't make the rule a good one tho. I think the rule is just a dumb rule.

I'd have taken the cash. Being short has its advantages.

I love that Stone Cold is bringing in HOF level players to share their knowledge. This never happened under any previous regime.

Former NFL star receiver Calvin Johnson, shown here with Falcons rookie RB Qadree Ollison, shared some knowledge with Calvin Ridley while making a stop at Falcons' minicamp. ``It was pretty cool,'' Ridley said. ``Obviously he's a Hall of Fame and great player. It was cool to have him in here and hear what he thought about his years playing. ... He was showing me you have to extend your arms way out so you can have almost like a backboard in case the DBs on you to give you the advantage of catching the ball.'' Dan Quinn said the team also has had Ed Reed and Takeo Spikes out visiting this offseason.

In our Super Bowl the Patriots ran just over 100 offensive plays and were called for offensive holding 0 times.
    I rest my case.

We didn’t go off script. We were that way the entire season. Cute USB’s doing something that you normally wouldn’t do. That’s not what’s we did. We stayed exactly who we were all year. It just didn’t work. The whole season was Matt hitting the right play at the right time. Only Mack usually didn’t give up a sack followed by a Matthews hold. But even then we usually converted 3rd and forevers all year. Cute is trying to run a trick play in that situation. Not what we did. WE put the ball in the mvp’s hand like we did all year. Cute was what the Seahawks did in their SB cause Wilson wasn’t known as that guy. It was the beast mode show. With us it was the Matty Ice show. That’s who we were. Your argument is YOU wish we woulda shoulda coulda just ran the ball. But I’m telling you Quinn believed in his guys and did what we did all year. Pull up where Quinn talks about that 2015 loss to the 49ers. Y’all can’t conveniently forget things Quinn spoke about just because you’re mad he didn’t do what you wanted or what you thought he should’ve in the SB. He SAID he would trust his guys from that point on. That’s what he did in the SB.

Tbh man I'll admit to semantics here. This is the quote I personally came in on.
"So if we run big nickel you're gonna have Wilcox or someone out there instead of Kazee."
Here there's no mention of Kazee switching back so one of the other safeties can come down. It's just a blanket statement that if we're in big nickel, then Kazee isn't playing, which can be a false statement.
I can say based of that statement that this is not what you've been saying but what I had to call out to you in an earlier post.

Nah I think you're being too close minded.
So the purpose of big Nickel as we all know is to basically bring in a safety that can play LB duties of run defender with a bit more speed as opposed to a LB that may be too slow and can't cover or a CB who may be too small and can't help with run support
So if, a big if btw (definitely not arguing that point), we went with big nickel, then why does Kazee have to play that spot? It's just as easy to place Rico down there because he's a bit bigger, can shed better and still cover just in case and place Kazee at FS. He's played that role before and it changes the responsibilities of the players because of their skillsets and what the offense could do.
Rico is short but he can play like a big nickel in spots.

But Neal can.  That’s why he is practicing with them.  Rico & Kazee would be the two deep safeties off the LOS.

No more than I would want Sanu throwing 30 times a game. Just saying his position isnt graven.

So you're saying from now on that Kazee could never ever play the safety role?
Sigh we have a 3WR set, you would assume that every time Sanu is playing one of those WR spots if he's on the field. Nope he's at QB because it's wildcat.
The point is the title of his position on the depth chart is meaningless if the formation is calling for something else. Kazee doesn't have to be listed as a safety to actually play in a 3 safety set and play the safety role for that particular play.

He did in playoffs against Rams in 2017. He did against Panthers in 2018, after Neal was hurt.

When we run 12 gauge is Sanu at QB? He's a w.r. In the depth chart. It's a silly point that you're making.

Come on man we all know the roster is fluid. If we run 3 safety sets it's not an absolute that they would actually go with the 3rd safety on the depth chart.
Heck you would find it hard pressed that the majority would say that Kazee would not be on the field in that circumstance. I think you know better than that tho.

Q didn’t draft either, but he did give each an extension. So the theory holds no water.

True indeed. Happy to see that none of our players have been caught in that light even thought it's more than likely a small microcosm of the way they spent their day or week

That's true, but it's easy to get a distorted sense of the off-site training activities when you see those pics of players with a bunch of chicks partying on the beach while the team is involved in OTAs.
I think 90 percent of players do work on getting into football shape even if they're not with the team. They would be crazy not to considering the intense competition for almost every spot on the roster.
Pretty sure as others have said, any and all new wrinkles and changes will be gone over many, many times before the season starts. Doesn't matter in the end. However you get yourself prepared, you best be ready to boogie when the rubber hits the road.

In actuality the general idea is that players aren't going to voluntary workouts so that they can lounge around. It's actually quite the opposite in that they do their own training at that time so that they get more out of it, then what the strict limits allow. Remember Julio was training in the sand with T.O during voluntary time last year.
I still don't understand why anybody believes this is a valid discussion to have when players have been quelling the argument anybody can make for voluntary OTAs for quite some time now.
