  1. It's funny you say that because hystorically the Panthers give us the most trouble in the South
  2. I listened to Brooks Wednesday on his weekly radio show and I definitely got the sense he's expecting to be on the field Sunday, if that means anything.
  3. When the Giants came to RJS in the first round of the playoffs Jacobs was the main concern (this was admitted after the game) and the plan was to make Eli beat us...well we contained Jacobs and Eli did beat us. So I believe you're spot on with your assessment. But Ryan is no Eli (yet) and I like our ballhawking DB's if Ryan starts slinging it...which is why I have a hard time seeing the Bucs losing this one....but stranger things have happened.
  4. Graham is dangerous no doubt, but Galloway's the home run threat and instant game changer on our team, with your inexperienced secondary (and experience is the key word, not talent) I think Galloway is gonna have a big day on the playaction.
  5. Good call on Barber, he knows how to make QB's think a receiver is open and then he'll jump the route for a pick 6.
  6. Defensively: Ruud, I have a feeling you'll hear his name alot on the broadcast Sunday Offensively: Galloway, your defence reminds me of the Saints defence last year and years past, good front 4 and LB's but the secondary's suspect...I have a feeling the ageless wonder is going to rebound after last weeks performance and light your DB's up (after a good softening by Graham). Special teams: ST's don't get alot of talk, but our punter and the kick/punt coverage teams are top notch...field position will be especially important for your team and it's rook QB on the road this week, if you watched t
  7. Buc MB's going nuts right now with news of Garcia benching...many feel Garcia has played his last down as a Buc...I'm one of them.
  8. Two very telling comments from today's post-practice interviews... QB Brian Griese was asked if Jon Gruden told him that he would start this week against Atlanta due to Jeff Garcia's sprained ankle or was it because of the rust factor that Jeff may have had due to the lack of playing time he saw at training camp: “I can’t tell you what percentage of what was going on in Coach’s mind,” Griese said. “You’ll have to ask him that. He kind of explained it to me that it was a combination of a lot of different things.” Gruden on Garcia: “It’s been a very interesting last few months,” said Gruden. “We
  9. Maybe it is....but what isn't well known is that there's a poster on atlantafalcons.com called "Emmitt" that does a pre-game rant imitating Emmitt Smith every week. Get it?
  10. DE GAINES ADAMS (On trying to contain Atlanta's running attack) "We know they've got two great running backs and we've just got to come out mentally prepared and ready to play. We know it's going to be a physical game. Last week they did a tremendous job of running the ball. From the looks of it, there going to come out this week and try to do the same thing. We've just got to come out ready to play." (On Atlanta QB Matt Ryan) "He's a great quarterback. I mean, his first pass – a touchdown. He's got a lot of confidence right now and his team's doing good. We've just to come out as a defense an
  11. Fair enough, I'm not going to bother researching, I get it, it's an inside joke and I'm far from "inside" on this board. I just like coming to boards like these to get a different perspective of the upcoming game, so when I read your OP I was annoyed. PS I have to admit that this is a pretty good MB for the most part, the majority of posters seem to have the ability to be relatively objective
  12. I think most of us can agree that there's idiot fans on every team....and without a doubt the Bucs (the on field warriors, not the keyboard variety) will not be taking this game lightly.
  13. So what, I'm a "damned proud" Bucs fan but that doesn't inhibit me from attempting to give a fair analysis of the upcoming game, you didn't even try.
