  1. norwood is a better back than tb sorry freeze. i watched the titans feed here in huntsville also....no biggie. what do you expect a home feed to sound like? of course they're gonna diss the other team on a score. big deal.
  2. agreed, joey is a waste....let dj progress. redman seems to throw a better deep ball, but i think its just that ryan hasn't really attempted very many deep throws.
  3. jenkins had a mismatch on his db. ryan picked it up over and over. i saw the game up here in huntsville....thru the titans feed. roddy had some double teams and jenkins had a height advantage.
  4. game 1 vs minnesota last year was enough to see what joey is capable of. period.
  5. warrick dunn can get us the short yardage...jerious norwood can get us the short yardage. the question as others have stated is can the offensive line get a good push on the line of scrimmage. no back can get postive yardage if he's bouncing of tacklers 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.
  6. bironas was my roomate at auburn in 96. he had hair back then.
  7. that's the first thing i thought of. maybe they did restructure before he was cut. i hope so.
  8. just to let you know. you can give directv a "new" service address. if you have any relative that still lives here or a friend that wouldn't mind you using there address...you can get ATL local channels up there. just call up directv and tell them you moved and that you've already installed your system at your new address. you update your service address and wala you have atl local channels. i've been doing it since i moved from ATL.
  9. horn has no trade value. this isn't madden football.
  10. it was a big risk to trade up for him, but the bigger the risk usually the bigger the reward. if he turns out to be as good as TD believes then ATL will have the last laugh.
  11. there is a similar philosophy among kids and athletics. kids that play on teams that never lose more times than not grow up to be less successful than kids that grow up on teams that struggle. the reason is that the kids that lost struggled through adversity and learned more about themselves than the kids that always won and thought everything was a-okay. the lesson also equates to pitchers: judge a pitcher by how he pitches on a day where his "stuff" is not there. don't judge a pitcher when he is in the "zone". similarly, judge a golfer with this same philosophy.
  12. on a shortened field with 3rd and short, teams stack the line. that's the true test of o-line's ability to run the ball. so far, the line has failed in short yardage situations. the o-line looks a lot better even still, but the red zone may still plague this team this year.
  13. preseason is not going to give any team any momentum. the games are sloppy and designed to get the bubble players reps so coaches can make presonnel decisions. momentum starts after week 1. period.
  14. this is not an intelligent post. the DB had the right angle on him on both runs to prevent at TD. that's what corners are supposed to be able to do. take an angle to prevent a TD. it's not a fair assessment to say he couldn't outrun the corner. this isn't turner and the corner racing from the starting line. this is turner beating LB's and a safety to the near sideline with a corner taking a b-line 60 yds downfield to cut him off. this is the most rediculous thread i've seen in a long long time.
  15. correct. to take a player off of an opposing team's practice squad they must activate him to the 53 man roster.
  16. i thought this was about jordan beck...is that his name? the MLB we drafted in 05 was it?
  17. "gimme my ball back meanie. i'm gonna tell my mommy"
  18. i think that smitty wants to be able to evaluate his qb's on the roster against playing time with ATL and the opposing teams' starters. shock and ryan will also start this preseason. that way they can get a look at all their qb's with the first string.
  19. Transactions Harvey Dahl's transactions from http://www.atlantafalcons.com/People/Playe...arvey_Dahl.aspx Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys on April 28, 2005. 21. is this his injury from last season or did he just re injure himself?
