  1. He kinda reminds me of Jacquizz Rodgers.
  2. Sewell played LG before switching to LT at Oregon so maybe he could make the same transition here. I think this is a great idea if we stay at #4.
  3. "Respectable" is a good way to put it. Petrino is known to be a dirtbag in general so I can't blame AB for that. I just wish we could have stability at HC (Tomlin, Reid, Payton, Carrol, Belichick, John Harbaugh) instead of having a guy come in for 3-5 years and then gets stale.
  4. I still give the man credit for our 2016 Playoff run. That was a fun season. He's a solid guy and I don't wish for him to fail. I hope it works out for him.
  5. Gotcha. Yeah, I feel like the Falcons brand has been stale for a while. If we can build a new defined culture/identity, the people will come out and support. I still can't believe we haven't played a playoff game in the Benz yet. I'm still gonna support regardless.
  6. Reggie Bush was an above average pro RB at best. Sean Payton maximized him. Mario Williams went to 4 Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro.
  7. lol. Why would you say that? I think this is a pretty good discussion.
  8. Right or someone like Mike Shanahan. A veteran coach who has won a championship.
  9. I'd never take it that far. I dated a girl from NOLA once. It was the year they won the Super Bowl too lol.
  10. To be completely honest, I don't like any of the head coaching candidates. I'd rather us talk an old guy like Dungy or Cowher out of retirement. We'll see how it goes but you're right about Brady. Huge risk/reward.
  11. Thank you, bro. I didn't have the energy to type it all out.
  12. Fair point. I talked about this in the first thread I created months ago. I don't ignore Rick Smith's failings. My biggest negatives with him have less to do with the draft and more to do with the free agents he's signed, the Brock Osweiler trade, and hiring Bill O Brien. I believe that taking a few years off from the game due to his wife's death will give him a fresh perspective. He's already shown me he can find a franchise QB and he was smart by being able to trade Brock Osweiler to the Browns when he realized he was crap. We may have to trade Matt Ryan one day. We could use that experience
  13. Cunningham led the league in tackles and even though Texans are trash, I wouldn't say he's a trash player. Finding impact players in undrafted free agency is a positive. I don't understand how much proof you need of his competence at getting good players from college on his team.
  14. I understand that he has whiffs but we can't ignore the guys I listed above either. That article gives Rick some credit as well. We all know that we will not find the perfect GM that makes every correct pick. That has never existed and never will. It's football. I'm looking at the guys we've interviewed and none stack up to Rick's resume, in my opinion.
