  1. So about

I will bet you anything you want he will be drafted. Give me Gronk all day if he can stay healthy. The man can block like a freaking guard

So about this Morris kid...... Am I missing something? Has only 101 of total offense which 82 yds is because of Walford? I am not here to bust your balls, but if this doesn't prove my point then idk what will!

  2. Don't go down this road again. It will not end well for you lol

I do, surely the 49ers don't have 12 picks and surely they are that stupid for the second year in a row.

By the way how did Tank do this year? Think if they had it to do all over they go with that pick?

  3. I will bet you anything you want he will be drafted.

    Oh really?

I am comparing Jimmy at Miami to Clive at Miami. I thought that was easy to decipher. Clive needs to stay for his senior year to refine some of his skills. And Luck was a monster at Stanford. So that was a horrible analogy. Jimmy was drafted in the 3rd round. And Jimmy still can't block worth a ****. Couldn't block at Miami and has only gotten marginally better in N.O.

A TE that can both block and be a receiving threat becoming the dinosaur in the NFL, they are being valued more as a receiving threat versus their blocking ability. Do this exercise, list your top 10 TE and the put a star by the ones that can "block like a guard". Good luck if you can find three!

Graham, Cook, Gronk, Cameron, Davis, Olsen, Gonzo, Witten & Bennett just to start you off....

  4. The reason why I brought up Jimmy is cause both he and Clive had little experience playing football as basketball players. But Jimmy superior athletic abilities let him play and learn at the same time. Clive couldn't do that cause he isn't that athlete. But he is a good one. His blocking needs work but he has good hands

Coming out of college a lot of teams had the same questions about Graham as you are raising with Walford hence why he went at the bottom of the 3rd round. All I'm saying his can we not compare the guy to the best TE in the league. It's like compare Morris to Luck because they have the same experience level, kinda silly don't you think?

  5. Gronk is better. And everyone knows I went to Miami and no he isn't close to being horrible. Jacory Harris was horrible. Kyle Wright and Brock Berlin was horrible. Morris set the school record and ACC record last year for passing yards. Not close to being horrible

Even with that he will not get drafted=horrible!

First of all both are great players, that being said I take Graham over Gronk any day of the week!

  6. Stephen Morris isnt a bad qb. And you have to understand Clive only played football his senior year in high school. He was very raw. And he doesnt have the same athletic ability like Jimmy Graham

No TE in the world has the same athleticism as Graham, which is why he is the best TE in the league. As far as Morris unless you are a die hard fan or relative (if that is the case no need to continue this discussion) he is horrible.

  7. Well, for the record, I will apologize if I offended you with my first post. (everything else was escalation in response). It wasn't meant to offend, per se. However, having said that, I stand my the strength of the statement. No offense meant, but I do still think that it's stupid to write off Schraeder. He has mounds of potential, and will only continue to improve. I've been on his side since we signed him, so this isn't necessarily based on NFL game, footage, but what I saw of him, coming out of Valdosta. Still though, I could have been nicer, so, for the record, I'll apologize if I offended you. Language like that is common on these boards, and sometimes, I get into it too.

Thank you and this is very big of you! As far as the discussion about Schaeder, it is just that an open dialogue about players and this team. When I create mocks I expect most people to disagree, that's why I create the subtitle embrace the hate. At this point we will just have to agree to disagree with Schaeder!

  8. You bumped this thread, for the sole purpose of trying to argue this point. I have no idea what your real age is, but it shows that your mental age is pretty young. If I turn out wrong, feel free to bump this thread again to gloat, since that seems to be your primary goal anyway. Have a good day.biggrin.png

Sir please refer to your first response to "MY" thread and tell you would not expect anyone else to react the same way.

  9. 4 Total years of football, all at Div II, and still no worse than Trueblood. Seems pretty impressive to me. I'm, definitely, excited to see what he can do, with another year of experience, and hopefully a better Oline coach. Oh, and lol at the bitter old thread bump. laugh.png

    A lot of what if's!

And you think me posting had anything to do with bumping a thread! Dude either you are young or stupid, maybe both. I've been on this board for about 7 years, I barely post a thread **** even comment threads and you think I'm concern about bump 1 of 6 I will post this year. Would you rather I post a whole new thread just to point out a guy you project to start next year get humiliated.

  10. im not sure murphy falls to the second, but im still feeling like we should fill right tackle and guard in free agency then draft a young guard early to learn and take over for blalock eventually. I dont hate the mock but there are alot of things on here that i wouldnt even consider personally, i feel like you killed all our vet young depth and tried to patch it with a bunch of unproven rookies. Recipe for disaster IMO

Oh and you counted five linebackers on the roster but only listed four. Just another quick catch lol

Should Murphy not drop to the second round Kareem Martin would be a nice contingency plan.

  11. What game have you seen him play that leads you to the conclusion that he is the one player we must have on this team, other than you being his #1 fan in a fan club of 5? This is where I scratch my head a say okay this guys is calling me stupid but he has no real reason for liking a guy!

  12. No, it fails for other reasons too, but that was what jumped out at me first, and yes, I'm a big fan of Schraeder. I have been since we signed him, and I do believe that he'll be competing next year to start at RT. He's only ben playing football for about 4 and half years now, and he's only getting better.

Last week was the most snaps he's taken all year 42.

Week 13 he did not see the field

Week 12 he played 10 off snaps

Week 11 he played 22 off snaps

Week 10 he played 0 off snaps

Week 9 he played 0 off snaps

Week 8 he played 0 off snaps (see the pattern)

He hasn't played enough for anyone to be so passionate about his play. Really dude???

My original idea was to sign Oher and Lauvao but outside of Oher who would you target as a RT? Why would you draft a guard early just to ride the bench, truth be told Blalock is our most consistent Oline, he just happens to be grossly over paid. I mocked up taking Wentworth who I suspect in the next 2 years can compete at the LG spot. All rookie are unproven it would help if you could be a little more specific (names & position) oppose to blanket statements.

I've looked at several mocks and even thou Murphy is projected to go in the first round I not sure who would draft him, he could only play strong side because he would have the athleticism or foot speed to play weak. In most case those guys don't do first round. Even if you project him at OLB there are too many OLB that project higher (Mack, Barr, Beasley & Van Hoy) just to name a few. I asked that you don't dissect the individual selection and why, but look at the bigger picture.

There is no one off-season that is going to address all the holes we have, but my attempt was to put us in a great position with youth and not blow our cap out to where if anything was to go wrong we have no flexibility. I was able to add depth at oline, secondary and strength our dline, to mention improve our surplus of cap space for 2014 & 15.

  14. Last year the cutoff was about 900,000. We got a 7th for Kelvin Hayden. It won't be much more this year. Meanwhile Grimes' salary falls more into the 4th round range vs 5th round range for Sjax and Osi. He's also contributed more than either of them, putting his worth even higher. He'll net us a 4th. Walker will be canceled out, and one of Owens/Svitek will as well. The other should net us a 7th, and McCown may as well.

No comment because I don't even understand what the F@#k you are trying to say!!!! Slow down, use your words.

  15. I'm immediately failing this mock for cutting Schraeder, who could very well be starting for us, next season. That is stupid, plain and simple. He's not going on the PS either. He doesn't qualify, as he's been active for too many games.

Dude I don't know if I can even take your comment serious. You failing my mock because of Schraeder, who has only played on 97 offensive snaps (maybe one game) out of potential 900. Now you want to make him next year's starter, where is he starting again?
