  1. They are competitive in games that don’t matter. We now have 3 years of this team losing the games that matter so I don’t consider them a playoff team with cap room or not.
  2. My question is, why do you think this is a playoff team next year? There is nothing pointing to a winning season next year based on the performance this year. There seems to be a competitive deficiency with the core of this team. They have never won when the stakes are highest.
  3. Jim Brown was before my time but I've heard all the talk and seen the film on him. Wish I could have seen Jim Brown and Gayle Sayers myself.
  4. I grew up in Chicago area watching Walter, I'm still mad Emmitt broke the record on great teams with a great line. The only other back I saw kill it like that was Barry Sanders and he should have run for 2-3 more years. He deserved to break Walter's record. Still hate the Lions for denying me a few more years of Barry on the field. Stupid coach made him run behind a fullback. SMDH!
  5. I don't understand why people can't be happy with this great two back situation. They have both produced this year and currently Freeman is killing it. Many have referenced the hot hand and I agree. On the Coleman fumble, I have a few thoughts for those that I believe are overly critical of Coleman's big negative play in his rookie year. I saw posters complain that Coleman only carries the ball on his left side. Did you notice that the ball was on his right side when he fumbled? Maybe he is getting used to it after the coaching staff worked with him to change his tendency? He was comin
  6. Fortunately, back muscle strains usually heal with time, with most healing within a few days and almost all resolving within 3 to 4 weeks. The large muscles in the low back have a good blood supply, which bring the necessary nutrients and proteins for healing to take place. http://www.spine-health.com/conditions/lower-back-pain/pulled-back-muscle-treatment
  7. LOL when was it posted? I obviously missed it.
  8. Did anyone else see Brent Grimes on the FX show "The League"? Good recognition for our young corner and team!
  9. Jump up and down and give high fives to all of the people in the stands around me like last year.
  10. This is what I was thinking in all 4 of our losses. DE or WR is what I would like to see.
  11. I remember the noise in the dome for that game it was great! I know my voice will be gone on Sunday and I hope the dome can rock like it did that day against the Rams. GO FALCONS!!!
  12. Don't forget the screen pass to Ovie, it has worked more than once this year. Hopefully, HD is ready and will hang onto the ball. Roddy should get his and Jenks can at least take up a defender and block. TonyG should play a big role as usual. Turner and Snelling are healthy and rested. We can handle the Pack if we play well.
  13. I am hoping for really hard fought physical games that take a toll on the winners. OT for both games with deep all over bruises on all players. Then the rested top seeds beatup on worn down opponents and we smash the Bears in the NFCCG...my perfect scenario.
  14. Got mine too! I was walking out the door but this post alerted me that I would have to sign so I waited for the FedEx guy to walk up. He told me to enjoy the game.
