  1. ahhhhh..... i dont know wher the **** youve been for the past 5 years but matt light has been one of the best ots in the nfl for a couple of years now. and, this is why you shouldnt try and evaluate/analyze a team by watching them for 2-3 games a season. you obviously only watch the patriots play the colts because freeney is about the only de you will ever see the patriots consistently double. obviously, you have no clue as to what you are talking about.
  2. im sure he will start out at lt. but if he is overmatched by the atheleticism of nfl deends, which is a great possibility, then the falcons may move him inside.
  3. wow. that right there in a nutshell shows how ignorant the vick haters are. first of all, a deep pass type offense , like vick played in actually the hardest type of offense to play in and have a dominant qb rating. i cant believe you ar stupid enough to try and use that as an excuse for his dominance passing the ball in college. second of all, this post is the perfect example of how dumb you are.
  4. Turned this team into basically a "start up" franchise. actually what youre saying is vick carried a crappy team by himself. if one player leaves a team and that puts them in "rebuilding" mode they werent ever out of "rebuilding" mode in the first place. maybe all that stress on vicks shoulders had to be vented through dogfighting. after all, he was single handedly carrying what resembled an "expansion team" yeesssss....... get him
  5. the patriots drafted a player named logan mankins a couple of years ago, who has turned out to be an excellent pro, and i'm pretty sure he went to the pro-bowl as a guard last season, in the first rnd and baker reminds me of mankins a ton. one of the reasons the falcons had baker so high on thier board has to be his potential versastility. logan mankins was an ot in college, but was moved inside to create a dominant pass protecting fron for the patriots. i'm from boston, and follow the patriots a ton, and one of the things that they do, is isolate mankins one on one most of the time in pass pro, just like an ot, allowing the patriots to either send the rbs out on pass routes in stead of staying in to help protect, or just flat out dominate in pass the passing game by lining up 4 and 5 wide all the time, and sill give brady 4-5 seconds to throw. while i think albert is even more versatiler and projects as an even better lt and the falcons could have moved up to get him for just a little bit more than they did for baker, baker was still a ood pik, because at worst, he becomes a great guard, who will be one of the best pass pro guards in the nfl, even if he doesnt get stronger and bigger to become a good pro lt. i think the falcons will be very open minded with all of thier o-lineman, as the patriots are, allowing them to crerate more depth at positions like wr and cb whocan run thin very fast, instead of having backup lineman for all 5 positions, they create an elite group of olinrman about 6-7 deep, that can play multiple positions, and are guys who know how to play, and are versatile, and after development can come in without the falcons losing much between the starters and the backups.
  6. Ignoring all the other nonsense you posted (as I ordinarily do), this line of thinking has already been dismissed as incorrect in this thread. Please read more carefully before posting. Virginia did not have a good option at LT after Ferguson left. They had two guys split those duties. Albert was never considered a good solution for the position. Making stuff up like this simply points out how weak your argument is. how about making up things like "albert wasnt considere a good solution" up??!!! actually, if anybody bothered to do any real research on albert at virginia, the reason they kept him at guard, actually, was because they only had 5 starting quality o-lineman at virginia that seperated themselves from the bunch, and there was a far drop-off in talent beyond those 5, and the guys who played ot didnt have the versatility to move inside. the games in which albert did play lt, he absolutely dominated, as in every other game he played throughout his career.
  7. During Vick's last season here, he was in the top 10 in numerous passing categories... Yards per completion, touchdowns, touchdown to interception ratio, and total first downs etc... Add all of that to being leading all QB's in rushing yards, yards per carry... Say what you will about the guy off the field, but you're only making yourself look like a ****** by trying to minimize what he did on the field. It shows very very low football IQ... As for Ryan, I have seen his work ethic compared to Manning's, which makes me very happy. That's probably as far as the comparison should go. I think Rya will become a good NFL Quarterback, not great, but good... Show me some stats that prove he was a top 10 "passing Qb. But I guess this shood be expected from a guy with the name Hokies&Falcons. When are you guys going to let go of your love for Vick. How can you respect a guy who shows no respect for the sport, his team or the fans. dude, you are an idiot. first of all your just happy to have a white guy playing qb for the falcons again, period. thats all you care about. if we got brohm youd be doing the same thing. matt ryan did absolutely nothing to deserve being taken #3 overall, and will do nothing of any significance in the nfl, face it. Here we go... WHITE/BLACK thing! Maybe we should have drafted Josh Johnson ahhhh... im white you idiot. and johnson in the 6th would have been a **** of a lot better value than ryan #3 overall. what a joke.

  9. yes, this is simple, ALBERT IS 10 TIMES BETTER THAN BAKER already, even though he has only started 2 games there, and anybody who has actually watched film of albert playing knows he is as much of a cant miss prospect as it gets, whether they make him a lt, which they most likely will, and should, or if they decide to keep him at guard. he is much, much stronger, way quicker, has much longer arms, and if dabrickishaw wasnt playin lt at virginia when alber arrived, believe me albert would have been an all american at lt every year he played.
  10. To me because of Seymour size and he is playing in the 3-4, I consider him as a DT so is Ty. it doesnt matter how big they are they play de. that is not a matter of opinion.
  11. detail these players strenghts and weaknesses. also, anybody googling scouting reports is cheating. 1. jerious norwood 2. matt ryan 3. mike jenkins 4. keith brooking 5. john abraham

  14. wow, i fom boston, and ill tll you right now that it has everything to do with thier talent, in fact, seeing how young the hawks are and that the celts have kg, pierce, and ray allen, the refs havent called nearly as many fouls as i thought they would. we are the best team in the nba. period.
