I thought it was obvi in the preseason that it should have been him instead of Ito, but what do I know?

I know we have TONS of other needs now, but it’s way too tough to get a shot at a potential franchise QB to pass up if he’s still on the board for our 2nd round pick. Some are predicting he’ll go in the 3rd or 4th round, but I think teams have wisened up after watching Watson and Jackson fall in the draft then come out and ball.
    Gotta do it.

If they can get an interview I say make an offer he wont refuse.
Newsome isn't leaving the Ravens organization. If he did it would be a surprise. For that switch to had been in the works for 5 years and he stayed, that shows loyalty. He could have easily left and allowed dude who replaced him to get it the hard way. His resume' is strong though. 38 pro bowlers and 17 all pros(did a little digging last night) along with being in both the college and NFL hall of fame himself. Those are accomplishments!!!!

I’m not sure why he stepped down or if he’s interested in GM’ing, but dude knows how to build a team. Anyone know what his deal or stated desire is?

So..... How's our momentum in 2019 going after winning those important last two games in 18?

I see our only realistic win coming against the jags. That would be a catastrophic win for our draft scenario.

To me it seems like there were too many hands trying to move too many parts.  If i remember correctly (please correct me if i'm wrong)
Scott Pioli was in charge of the drafts...now I dont know if he was in charge of making the picks or if TD was....
Then, TD was in charge of FA....
And Quinn had the final say in the final roster...
Too me..that just seems like a recipe for too many disagreements and arguments...
AB needs to either hire a coach and let him make all the calls and have a GM to make it happen, or
He needs to hire a GM to have full control, hire his own coach, and get the players as he sees fit
None of this trying to slice a pie and hand out pieces to different people in the FO..

This is the simplest explanation for me. And it’s DQ not Vic. Vic is just the symptom.
Players see this talented super lazy player suck for a few years and then get retained for 13M. He then skips out on mini camp and DQ let’s it go.
This signals to players DQ has no balls to bench him or reprimand or light a fire in him.
All the other players that haven’t gotten paid yet see this. Jealousy and frustration set in.
DQ hasn’t forgotten how to coach. The players see him coddling and paying a lazy player.
This is the simplest explanation for me.

I really wouldn't want to bring a new GM in without him preferably having his own HC in place.

Many of us questioned the move when TD brought you in.  You quickly proved your value and will forever be remembered as a Falcons great.  Thank you for everything you did for the red and black.

I wanted him here when he was getting torn to shreds before FA began, sad to see him go. He deserves to go in our ring of honor IMO. He is more valuable than his stats indicate.
