Say what you want about the roster moves, but..
Scott Case 25 replied to Vicious's topic in Talk About the Falcons
Yeah because he knew he was through. You don't think he would have been designated for June 1 cuts at the latest if he hadn't? Blank is letting his guys run the show and it was made evident when Turner was picked up. You never know, especially with Blank meddling. If Dunn didn't ask to be released, he probably would have been on the team this season. Dunn didn't ask to be released be he thinks he's finished, he asked to be released because he think he's not. He's too selfish to take a reserve role. Too Selfish....... that's a joke, this guy was the team, he lived and breathed as a falcon and -

IndyStar.com Sports National Sports March 3, 2008 In brief: Hartsock to Falcons The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms with free agent tight end Ben Hartsock, who was drafted in the third round in 2004 by the Indianapolis Colts. He had 12 catches for 138 yards with the Tennessee Titans last season -
How good is Vtech's Brandon Flowers?
Scott Case 25 replied to heyydanny's topic in Talk About the Falcons
I agree, but disagree.. I am not a tech fan, but watched several games last year and I would say when he is on the field its different. He kept up with a lot of fast guys and the thing i like most he is PHYSICAL I say get him in the 2nd if he is there. Just check him out... -
He said it best..... Thanks Dunn

Von Hutchins is being courted by atlanta..
Scott Case 25 replied to Scott Case 25's topic in Talk About the Falcons
Of course if Atlanta got to have a blast from the past my namesake would be great.. -
From the ajc "The Falcons also are hosting Houston cornerback/safety Von Hutchins, according to his agent, Ken Harris. Harris said all the players were scheduled to spend most of the weekend with Falcons officials and possibly watch the Hawks game at Philips Arena." I watched a lot of Houston games this year and he was one of the only ones to play good in the Houston backfield... I wouldn't complain if we picked him up..be nicer to have him on our side instead of doing this

Falcons have contacted free agents Turner, Brown By Jay Adams - jadams@macontel.com ESPN reported early this morning that the Atlanta Falcons have contacted San Diego free agent running back Michael Turner and Seattle place-kicker Josh Brown. Both could make visits to Atlanta today to meet with the Falcons. The NFL free agency period began at 12:01 a.m. today, marking the first time NFL teams could contact and sign free agents or trade players already under contract. Turner, a three-year player out of Northern Illinois, has rushed for 1,257 yards in his career backing up San Diego starter LaDa

Carr was horrible in Houston, sad in Carolina...and will hopefully never step foot in the dome wearing a falcon uniform

Since the quote monster wont let me quote you directly I will say that I agree with that logic 100%. Turner seems to play with more power than DMC, and if we added more talent to the O or D line with that 3 pick instead of taking DMC (who I do think will be a good pro) then the team will be better as a whole. I really hope we don't take Ryan though. I just think you need to build from the inside out, put in talent when it is protected. I agree we could hit the ol or dl and make a bigger impact with turner...then i say flacco or henne in 2nd or 3rd

I would take Turner over D-mac 999 times out of 999 I couldn't agree more.......

I'm with you on Mendenhall, he is my sig...... but if we keep the 3rd pick and can get Turner I say yes....
-
At 5'10 237 pounds he is what this team is looking for...and I think everyone has seen him and knows he has NFL skills... if not here ya go.....he has what we want and will go up the middle...big time
-
I want Mendenhall.....but if we can sign Turner the Burner I say DO IT...

Spend freely or draft? NFL free agent season is dicey By Jim Corbett, USA TODAY Now that the San Diego Chargers are turning running back Michael Turner loose in free agency, he figures to become one of the hottest commodities to hit the market come Feb. 29, when teams can commence shopping for new players. In a leap year, some franchise will take a high-priced leap of faith that LaDainian Tomlinson's backup is the missing piece capable of putting the team over the top. Nicknamed "The Burner" at Northern Illinois, Turner is a 5-10, 237-pound combination of power and speed who has averaged 5.5 y
