  1. Waaaay too much emphasis on TE's on this Message Board. The punter is even more important than a receiving TE.
  2. Isn't lunatic a strong word? After all, the government is just trying to bring in as much money as it can - isn't that what we all try to do? I also think we are over-taxed but I wouldn't call it lunacy. Now, I can certainly see applying the word lunatic to an administration that has us involved in 2 meaningless wars - one of those going on 7 years now. Trust me on this, as soon as we leave Iraq - whether it be next year or 5 years from now - Iran will slowly take it back from within (we have set ourselves up to face a much more fanatically designed Iraq in the future). The Taliban will be bac
  3. To be perfectly honest, I think that either candiate will eventually have to raise taxes over the next four years. We still have to pay for the 2 wars we are still involved in - we can only borrow so much money from the Chinese.
  4. I DON'T KNOW AT THIS JUNCTURE WHAT DJ REALLY HAS TO OFFER. BUT NOW AS FOR YOU NOT BEING A GEORGIA FAN, WATCH THEM THIS YEAR ...... I GUARANTEE YOU'LL BE A FAN AT THE END OF THE SEASON. You know it Rev. The battle in Jacksonville this season between GA and UF should be epic. I am salivating waiting for the season to begin.
  5. For me it would always be Joe Montana but I never got to watch Namath play.
  6. Just to clear one thing up: I am from the south and it dang sure wasn't part of my culture. People should quit using the "being from the south" argument when discussing dog fighting.
  7. I support the Falcons. I have never really been an individual player kind of fan so as long as the players help the team I will always support them!
  8. After I read the first couple of lines all I could think of was Joe Montana. I can't believe that there is anyone living or dead that would rather have a Michael Vick over a Joe Montana.
  9. I haven't given up on Jenkins yet but I think this is the year he has to really step up if he wants to keep his starting job.
  10. I'm not really defending Jimmy Williams, but he was hurt with ankle problems when Webster went down, and Mora never really liked playing rookies over veterans... it took a long time for Hall to get on the field after his injury rookie year, Jenkins pretty much only played special teams during his 7 catch rookie season because Mora wanted to "develop" him, Roddy White rode the bench for more than half his rookie season until Mora woke up and realized the Dez White was junk... Mora liked to keep rookies in a developmental status until they were absolutely needed to play the full load, take Boley
  11. 1993, 9 gms, one sack for strahan 2007, 16 gms, no sacks. hmmmmmmm a difference of 7 gms and one more sack by strahan. and jamaal couldnt get 1. Man, you are one SAD troll. You can't even defend your position, maybe they will open an online troll school for you to get some training in. I don't know of ANYONE who thinks Jamaal should outperfrom Strahan, who is in the TOP FIVE ALL TIME. I was comparing Jamaal to one of the games greats and all he needs is 5.5 sacks, not 10 like you claim, to match Strahan's production over their 1st 2 seasons. It's sad that people like you can't even do mat

  13. Just for giggles I looked up Strahan's stats for his first four seasons in the NFL. I guess since he only had 5.5 sacks in first 2 seasons as oppossed to 10 sacks the Giants were idiots to keep him: 1996 16 gms 5 sacks 1995 15 gms 7.5 sacks 1994 15 gms 4.5 1993 9 gms 1 sack Sorry for all the edits; but as anyone can see this is a mere 4.5 sack per game average for his first four seasons and only 2.75 for his first two seasons. Yet fans like crank think that Anderson should outshine one of the greatest to ever play the game???
  14. I get so tired of hearing "Sacks sacks sacks sacks sacks" A rookie should be given at the minimum 3 years to develop. It is also ludicrous to base his total production on the lone statistic of sacks. There is a lot more to playing on the line than sacking the QB - what about causing the QB to rush his passes and possibly miss his target and/or throw an interception? Anyone hear of tackling the running back? What about drawing double teams? Only fantasy teams sit around and point only to sacks as production. Football FO men look at the big picture.
  15. I never wager money on or against my home team. Just superstitious, I guess. But of course I would pick the Falcons.
