  1. the georgia playbook irritates me because ther are no 4 receiver sets, otherwise i would get the freshmen in a lot more How often does Georgia use 4 Wr sets?
  2. They probably will all be suspended, but no more than the first 2 games against Western Michigan and Georgia Southern. No big deal. You will have all your starters by the first meaningful game.
  3. It looks like my Criminoles aren't the only ones that can't stay out of trouble. At least none of your players had weed and a loaded gun:P. In all seriousness, it happens at every school. I am tired of people saying it doesn't. Some schools just get more pub. UGA, Welcome to the National spot light. All incidents like these will be magnified from now on.
  4. Demps is very impressive. He lost in the semi's, but for a high school athlete not bad.:P We will see if he can run with the pads on in a couple of months.
  5. Ouch.... I picked UNC and Miami to play in the Championship, and now 2 of 3 ACC teams have already been eliminated. So I guess I will jump on the Dawgs banwagon. Go Dawgs!
  6. Wouldn't surprise me if UGA loses and then meets Miami again for the chamionship. Miami and Georgia are the two best teams here IMO. That's funny! Both UGA and Miami can't be in the championship. There are 8 teams in the College World Series. You forgot the other side of the Bracket.:P I can't wait for the games tomorrow. I used to live in Omaha and there is nothing like watching college baseball in Rosenblatt Stadium. Go Noles!
  7. Its just like March madness. They don't reseed when it gets down to the Final 4. They seeded the tourney before the regionals. so if the teams that were the favorites won out #1 Plays #8 and #2 plays #7 and so on. Makes perfect sense to me.
  8. If FSU can get some decent pitching, you have to like their chances with the best hitting team. My pick though is Miami vs UNC with Miami winning it.
  9. The stipulations include that the prospect cannot have taken any official visits. (Supposedly the idea being not to give one school an advantage over others with the official visit). This stipulation is just stupid. If a prospect chooses to make his decision after taking one official visit, then that should be his choice. I think most recruits have a good Idea where they are going before they take the Official visits. Sounds like some SEC teams were whining. They should have an early enrollment period in the Middle of December. Coaches have time to make their pitches during that time.
  10. He has big play capability for a TE, has good hands, and speed to split the seams. His weakness I would say would be blocking.
  11. Leave it to ESPN to get bored and write some article about which is the best BCS team. What a bunch of idiots.
  12. He has major potential and I hope he does well there. He will be a major help to you pass attack. I hated to see him leave, but I guess being away from home was too much for him to handle.
  13. Both coaches are class acts on the football field and off. I will be happy for Richt when he wins the NC.
  14. No, It is because the Pac 10 and Big 10 have a lucrative deal with the Rose Bowl, and they don't want that to change. It doesn't matter what is best for College Football. It is all about what is best for the Big 10 or PAC 10. Just another reason to hate the Big 10 and Pac 10.:P
  15. That is interesting, but I kind of figured that would be the case. You can be a superstar at the High School level and struggle with adjusting to college level competition, and it is the same way when you make the jump from college to the NFL, plus most 18 year olds haven't fully developed yet. It is all a guessing game, and I think you see it every year. A team will be in the top 10 in recruiting, but it doesn't translate on the field. Stars mean nothing but hype.
