  1. Why would he want to come here and mentor some young DB's that will replace within 2 years and that 6 MILL he wants is not very good for a team like ours that needs defensive linemen and offensive lineman. Peace
  2. With all the tears, needing GM's and coaches begging him to play, and becomes a locker room cancer is not what the new management wants. If they wanted a unhappy camper they should have kept D Hall. Peace
  3. He had 6 tds in 2006.Same as chad johnson....... Oh yeah, matt jones would love those numbers by the way. BUT, Matt Jones does not care about numbers, as long as he has his muliti purpose credit card. Peace
  4. We have 9 of 11 draftees signed. And it looks like media's darlings Carolina, has 1 signed, per scout .com Peace
  5. Jenkins had a decent season last year, 53 catches, 920 yards, and 4 TDs. Then there is the 10 yards per catch and his longest reception was only 29 yards. Not the greatest numbers for a fomer 1st round pick He'll never be a Roddy White; but, he'll be a good third down receiver. Peace
  6. YOU HATE MORE THAN VICK. YOU HATE YOURSELF, AND THE FAILURE THAT YOUR LIFE IS. STILL AT HOME WITH YOUR PARENTS, CAN'T KEEP A JOB. IT'S A MISERABLE LIFE ISN'T IT? IT DOESN'T HELP THAT YOU DIDN'T MAKE YOUR HIGH SCHOOL TEAM, BUT A LOT OF BLACK GUYS DID. AND ONE OF 'EM TOOK YOUR GIRL FROM YOU. AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY ....... HE WAS A QB, AND HIS NUMBER WAS "7.":w00t: Daaaaaaaaaaaam Rev, I think you drew blood. Any way, darn good post Rev. Peace
  7. He's from Pittsburg, not Boston. Maybe he is the quite type, or maybe he is mature for his years and knows to be quite around know it all loudmouths like Jamie Dukes. Peace
  8. Favre is better talent wise than Redman by miles. For character and maturity, I take Redman. The tearful retirement drama this time every season by Favre is old. Peace
  9. He is a solid pick, from a major college. Baker had a injury last season, and dropped from best OT, to out of the top tier. He will be a soild, dependable OT for the Falcons, hejust needs to be signed, asap, along with Lofton. Peace
  10. Trade him to the Raiders to be with our other ex-unhappy camper. A sixth round pick is of equal worth for aging WR with a overinflated ego and limited skills. With White, Robinson, and Douglas, I don't see him getting too much time on the field, as a WR or special teams. Peace
  11. He has a T.O. level ego. This, "I am retiring, no I'm not, wait I still want to play", is getting to be the next big event every year after the draft for the NFL. I think he loves for the Packers to hang on his every breath. Maybe this will be the year the Packers finally say enough is enough. Peace
  12. Without doubt for a high level for every game he played, along with the mental and physical toughness, William Andrews. He caught the ball, ran it, and unlike some other RB's he did not duck out of bounds. Plus Andrews had a nasty streak in pass or run blocking, and hunting down DB's when he hit the opposition's secondary. Peace
  13. Most of the preseason have had positive to good remarks about McClure. The rest of the offensive line has been chewed up by the sports media talking heads. About another loneman, has Sam Baker ,our projected Left Tackle been signed, (and how about the ILB, Lofton), has he been signed? Peace
  14. Too bad we can not cut/release Jamie Dukes a second time. Some had to go for the team to heal and go forward. While some were cut stictly as a business move due to age and/or injuries. Peace
  15. The Sporting News preseason gives the team an A- for the team's draft. Gives us B's for the Db's, LB's, Special Teams and It's. A grade of C for the Qbs, Secondary, and the D-Line. And a big old honking F for the O-Line. Guess one F warrants a projected 1-15 record for the Falcons. Of course Sporting News has the common sports media love for John Fox and,The Carolina Kitty's, along with Miami's Dolphins and that GM they have. Peace
