everybody please lay off of Dunta Robinson
zone3lb replied to lju713's topic in Talk About the Falcons
Yo Peyton, why are you debating with this dude. Its obvious his football knowledge is limited. Its completely quantifiable that dunta has been throw at more by watch the game. I think its because Dunta's an aggressive corner thus bites more on misdirection. When Mojo can't debate he insults and manufactures. Argumentum ad hominem or is it ad absurdum? -
I have an idea and it's a good one!

How we take the season as it comes. Wait and see if we make the playoffs, and not crown Turner and Ryan the best and incapable of being the team's liability. OH but dont sell your gear even still -
Gotta question about Matt Ryan and the announcers
zone3lb replied to Zenduke's topic in Talk About the Falcons
Because he's locking on to Roddy from go and his quick release, he's ready to throw really quickly. So at the last possible second he sees a defender and puts the ball up for Roddy possibly to make a play on it or make it so neither one can catch it. In a way this is both an overthrow and a throwaway. And the announcers see he could've simply gotten it over the LOS -
Do they have plans for a mobile version, jedi?

You can't use the fact that th Steelers have a great defense to excuse the loss...you are suppose to beat great defenses to win a super bowl Why even bother going to Pittsburg if that's the case? The cardinals have a decent defense too. Or the excuse be their recievers are too good. -
I don't think BVG will produce a Ryan, labeau, zimmer-ness-tonsasacks-probowler everywhere type defense but he produce a solid bend don't break D(which I hate lol)

People like Peyton are the reason I still visit this board. actual football discussion. Like he and others said the problem on Offense started 1 and a half seasons ago. What I dont agree with is that it is mostly Mularkey's fault. Anyone notice that in Ryan's rookie year Mike kinda had the playbook open, but simplified it the next season? Reason, we played cake defenses and tougher ones the next, and what better way to give a young QB confidence than to let him destroy real NFL defenses. With tougher defenses the following year you reign him in a bit, play to his strengths and let him be him.

Im not drinking any more of this Rise Up Kool-Aid
zone3lb replied to The Falcon Jedi's topic in Talk About the Falcons
I guarantee the coaching staff is freaking out the difference between them and fans is that they can change things. I don't think they're saying you guy are good home no practice Tuesday. I am drinking the defensive kool-aid though. I feel confident that we'll go 9-7 now I guarantee the coaching staff is freaking out the difference between them and fans is that they can change things. I never liked that flavor of kool-aid anyway. Jedi's right. Its gonna long if something doesn't change. Ryan is still playing like he's at BC. Almost like the game is too fast for him. A 3rd yr QB shouldn't be staring down receivers, let alone the same two receivers. Turners problem is directly related to the lack of push up front. The Defense showed it has improved. Looking forward to watching them against the div opponents. You may say its only one game but it was against one of the leagues better Ds. If we can't compete with them then we won't make it far in the playoffs. The same offensiv -
