  1. I could see that. That seems just weasily and disingenuous enough to be the plan they decided to go with.
  2. Who should receive the blame? I'm sure you'll say Trump, and he would deserve some because he did not shove this bill down Eddie Muster's throat the first time he read it, but Ryan ensured by the way this was created and introduced that it is his, or at least it should be.
  3. Probably, they hate the new health care bill. Ryan is trying everything under the sun to make it sound as though it is fabulous when the Obamacare lite moniker is much more accurate. I'm no fan of the new bill, and I agree with Trout that the Republicans are blowing their shot. I'm surprised by what a crappy job they have done in this, but not shocked. Seven years they had to get this right, all their grandstanding, all their smugness about how it should be done, and this was the best they could put forth. Ryan acts as though this first stage of three bs should pacify us. That is based on
  4. I was generalizing about the "real news" argument. Just used your post as an example
  5. So now Russian ties are a non issue? Understood.
  6. SANDERS: ‘DEDUCTIONS HAVE GONE UP TOO HIGH’ UNDER OBAMACARE, GOP PLAN WILL ‘RESULT IN PEOPLE DYING’ He did say that OFFICIAL: SWEDEN NEEDS TO INTEGRATE RETURNING ISLAMIC STATE FIGHTERS… As did this official …POLICE ONLY SOLVE 14 PERCENT OF NATION’S ‘EVERYDAY CRIMES’ Do you think this stat is fake news? CONVICTED TERRORIST WILL KEYNOTE ANTI-ISRAEL CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO I know this one sounds unreal, but it's still true
  7. Keep going with the factually accurate, non biased sources then.
  8. It is in fact a plateau, just those with a strong bias to the left themselves see the equally bias reporting they champion as "factual accuracy" about what goes on in Washington.
  9. He said "Did you guys hear about Tim Kaines's son?" Where was he attacking the father in that? He attacked his idiot son, which was deserved, but not the father. He also did not say this reflects in any way on Kaine himself, some may draw that inference, but only if they're stretching to do so.
  10. He's an adult and being quite political. This is like bitching about people attacking HW Bush's son a few years back. "Leave W alone, children of politicians are off limits."
  11. Yea, it's too bad he never said anything about killing ISIS. The way he just sprang this on everyone is very suspicious indeed.
  12. Already have..at length, so ahead of the game...and I wasn't really taking a shot at you, just a joke. Too long and ****** of a week at work to go picking fights, I just ain't up to it. Edit: Don't know why I thought that word would slip by the filter
  13. Other than for companies moving production here, or remaining here in anticipation of his business friendly approach, no, it's obviously too early. I do believe it will only continue to grow. I do believe we are finally turning in an upward trending direction though, and feel nothing but optimism that this trend will continue.
  14. Trump is creating a business friendly environment, the job numbers will continue to grow. This is the reason above all others why I began to support him in the first place. I also look forward to the first year of 3% plus GDP growth in more than a decade by year two of his presidency.
  15. Of course not. Trump's manufacturing and business friendly tax plan is chasing jobs to other countries in droves. Samsung Plans U.S. Expansion, Would Shift Manufacturing From Mexico
  16. I thought Mack leaned more toward conspiracy, I met him as well and was sad to hear of his death a couple years back. He pretty well built that museum.
  17. Kinda blows that whole "Trump is a fascist" argument to h*** doesn't it
