  1. I'd take him back, but not at his pricetag. I think New England or Dallas will take him. He's got great physical ability, elite level physical ability, I'm just not convinced he'll ever be able to put it all together. I don't mind that he's a talker, but he needs to step up his game before he talks. He's having an average season this year and needs to get his game together.
  2. Depends on who covers him. Hall has this annoying habit to play 10 yards deep which Roddy can exploit for some short gains and maybe break one, Asomugha (I remember his name because he's who I named one of my GLB Corners after) on the other hand can shut down White, I have no doubt on that. So, whoever he is covered by will decide his fate.
  3. I love the idiocy of "Hall cost us that game"... The TD Hall was responsible for only tied the game, it is not his fault our offense is **** and the defense gave up the winning TD. Considering Smith probably has 2 TD's that game (6 for 96 and a TD in this game) and Hall held him to 0 and they got 1 on a penalty says something. Hall SHUTS DOWN Smith, the Falcons suck, and the vocal minority of our fans are idiots. "Id rather lose with a team then win with individuals"... I heard that last season, it makes me sick. Ya'll suck, the team sucks, that is all there is to it.
  4. I love seeing the Great White Hope of the Atlanta Falcons fail miserably. Better then MV my **bleep**.
  5. Time to get over it, me thinks. DeHall is incredibly talented, more talented then any of our CB's, and he's also a headcase. But frankly, can we honestly talk trash? We beat the Chiefs of 2008, not the Chiefs of a few years ago. Get over it, Hall is gone, stop bringing it up.
  6. Losing as a team and losing as individuals is the same **** thing. A loss. The running game couldn't carry the team and that exposed a rookie QB who should be riding the bench this season. The team is not a great team, not even a good team. We'll be lucky if we aren't 4-12 at the end of the season with a very serious injury to Ryan. And our D is still terrible... "As a team".
  7. In total fairness, that man vs. zone corner thing has merit... How do you put the best man-to-man cover team (among the top 3) into zone? I mean... with Huff, Wilson, Hall, and Asomugha you would think it's pretty obvious you run a man-to-man, cover 2... De-Hall has always been pretty bad in zone coverage... so... why? And I still am puzzled why he plays 10 yards back. They guy is the fastest player in the NFL... or among them... He won't get burned deep often so why does he play like he's Lewis Sanders and stays 10 yards off? And the "no pressure on the QB" thing isn't too far off either. The
  8. Joey Harrington is NOT a good starting QB. He's barely a servicable backup. He's had ONE season with more TD's then INT's... That is NOT the marker of even a decent QB. I don't like or trust in Matt Ryan, but I'll gladly take him over Harrington.
  9. 4 games last year is more wins than Vick contributed to. And yet still only 4 wins. You may detest Vick and think this is the best thing to happen to the team, but until Ryan proves he's a player who can lift a team, or the team can stand on its own, we're still a terrible team. You may consider this some sort of victory, I see it as another 3+ seasons with little hope.
  10. Yeah, because he had a problem with that in the past........ Samuels: 6yr 57million Clements: 8yr 80million Hall: 7yr 70million Seems to be about right considering the recent signings at the position for players deemed to be at the top of their position... Why is it too much for Hall? Why is roughly 10m per-year bad when most other top CB's are making 10m per-year? Because for that pay, the cornerback being signed to that contract shoudl eb equal to the other players signbbing one like that. . And D-Hall is... So, again, I don't see the problem... You trying to say Clements is better then Hal
  11. Yes, and Randy Moss wasn't that good when he was worth a late draft pick, right? The Falcons Front Office either pulled the trigger too early, or, they knew that since Hall had made it public he wanted out (who can blame him) and because the team was publically shopping him, the pricetag went down. When someone REALLY wants to sell something, the offers they get will decline because the team was desperate, like Moss, Owens, and now Hall.

  13. Way to be optimistic about the season!:hehe: I don't see any reason why we can't be at least 8-8. If the Saints can make it to the NFC Championship game, then I think we have a decent shot at a decent season. I'd like to be optimistic, but I can't. At last check I didn't see how our OLine had gotten any better, so even with Turner the run game doesn't look to be that good. We still don't have a good QB, our DB's went from decent to terrible, we still have no run defense, and a serious lack of playmakers... We need a good draft and a fast maturation process for Houston, Anderson, and the soon-
  14. We now have a winner for D-Bag of the week, congratulations IHateThe Cowboys!. You join the ranks of Tonabull, and many many others. Good luck DeAngelo. Would've prefered to have you here, but with out idiot fans riding you every week, trashing you for things you didn't do, and ignoring the deficiancies of other players just to pick on you, I can see why anyone would want to leave. That and the Falcons are terrible until proven otherwise.
