  1. I always heard he had an attitude problem but I never would have thought he was slinging coke....what an idiot. It sucks for us though because with Zeke Knight probably out for good we are hurting at Linebacker position. Slowly but surely all the problem Shula recruits are disappearing.
  2. I hate to see this.......what a waste. http://www.myfoxal.com/myfox/pages/Home/De...TY&pageId=1.1.1
  3. First of all I dont think there is much questions in most peoples mind that the Defense won the National Championship.......it was awesome to say the least. Second...the offense he is running is different than what he ran at Utah because he knows in the SEC you cant do it throughout a season and have any chance of keeping your QB healthy even if you have one of the toughest most resilient QBs in college football. Can you imagine how long Alex Smith would have lasted in the SEC running that offense? He keeps tweaking his offense to adapt to the defenses of this conference with their combo of s
  4. I think they could do worse than Curry. He was a pretty good coach at Alabama with a 26-10 record in his 3 years I think but his real strength was recruiting ...atleast back then. Most of the players on the 92 National Championship team were Curry recruits so maybe they are thinking he will be able to lure some decent players to this new program. Who knows but I wish him luck anyway.
  5. I had the pleasure of watching one of the greatest matchups in college football history when UGA visited Auburn in 1981 and playing for #1 in the college polls. UGA had Herschel Walker and Auburn had Bo Jackson.Game was tight from start to finish and I think Lionel "Little Train" James was the RB that gained the most yardage that day... Oh yeah, UGA won that matchup. I remember that game. Who would have known that those would end up being two of the best college RB's to ever play the game. A lot of people forgot that Bo split his carries with Little Train for half his career I think. LJ was
  6. That may well be true but the main thing many people remember about Bosworth's pro career was him being run over by a freight train with the number 34 on the front of it and the name Jackson on the back on his way to the inzone in a Seahawks /Raiders game. Here comes your freight train... :w00t: I remember that clear as day. That's one of the absolute, worst truckings I have EVER SEEN! That and William Andrews trucking Ronnie Lott was pretty good too... Yeah...That was awesome! ....They hyped that match up so much before the game which made it even sweeter. As much as Bo put a hurting on my

  8. This guy is an idiot ( waste of air) and a disgrace to Alabama Football but unless he was resurrected from the grave he is not the one who got Alabama put on probation. I could be wrong but I have always heard it was a guy out of Memphis who was not even an Alabama Alumni but a booster that was responsible for the last violations. He was murdered a couple of years ago so out of respect I wont mention his name but I will say I dont think there is any way possible he wrote this article.
  9. mid to high 50's is a good completion percentage in mark richt's system. some offenses create great looking stats for their QB's but aren't really as effective as some with weaker numbers and greater results. you're showing your ignorance of football and ESPECIALLY of UGA football (****, and of offensive systems vs. stats in general).
  10. Seems like a stand up guy to me too. Unfortunately, that alone won't make you successful inpro football. Yes,DJserved his purposeas surrogateUGAmascotunder Mora and Petrino, but we'returning the page onthosefailed regimes now and trying to build alegitimate NFL team. I know some of you don't agree withthis direction that thefranchise is currently taking, but if all goes well you won't need laser light shows and local yokel celebrities tosustain your interest in this team. 11. Ok so lets say you have to have emergency brain surgery (In your case it might not be hypothetical). Which doctor do you want conducting your surgery? The proud ,egotistical one( not Ryan just saying) who thought he was ready before he actually was or the more humble one who had taken his time to watch and learn from a more experienced Dr? I know this isnt the same scenario but I dont see how anyone could take what DJ said in that interview as a negative and no I dont think he will be the starter here but I do have respect for him. I think he is a stand up guy even if he did play for UGA:
  12. Live in Atlanta in Midtown. Grew up in Alabama and went to school at UA and have been Falcons fan my whole life and believe me it hasn't been easy except maybe in 98. Went to games maybe once a year growing up but got to watch most. Moved out west in the Rocky Mts for years and was one a very few falcon fans in the area until moving back South to Atlanta a few years ago.
