    Love the Umber's.
    But that was one of the best lines of season 1 IMO;

    I can't get over book Jorah v. show Jorah. Daeny is sort of repulsed by him in the books.

    Pepperidge Farm remembers. He's a gif of Kate Upton's knockers and a video of Stairway to Heaven. You're welcome.

    Glad her character in 300 wasn't too regal to bear her knockers.

    There's so much foreshadowing of the red wedding in the book. Martin's use of songs throughout the books is really clever.

    I've been checking out some of the Westeros Total War mods for Medieval Total War 2. For a fan made mod the attention to detail is amazing.

    Owen Teale will be returning to the role of Alliser Thorne for the fourth season of Game of Thrones.
    The antagonistic Night's Watch master-at-arms Alliser Thorne was last seen in Season 1 Episode 8, “The Pointy End,” and last mentioned in Season 1 Episode 9, “Baelor,” when Lord Commander Mormont explains he is sending him to King’s Landing with the hand of a wight.

    This is one of the most thoughtful and thought-provoking analyses of the show I've read:

    That's one of the more gruesome things I've come across in the books. I hate that that story didn't get worked into the show.

    BTW, apart from missing the Tywin/Arya scenes, I much prefer how Arya's time at Harrenhal plays out in the books to that of the show. I imagine it would have been too expensive to film Jaqen carrying out the last name and freeing the captives.

    I'd really love some prequels, whether in book form or that of HBO mini series.
    They'll probably never be able to do Robert's Rebellion until they finish the main series because witnessing the actual events firsthand would reveal too many twists GRRM may not be ready to divulge.
    Would love to see Ageon the Conqueror, or the Blackfyre Rebellions or heck even the Hedge Knight series (which I have read, the ones that are out anyway) though they are really the ASIOF's Hobbit in that they are much more PG-13.

    If the show overtakes the books then you minus whale just go ahead and watch the story play out on screen first. I couldn't imagine the hassle of trying to avoid show spoilers while waiting for the last book.
