  1. Wow, a Saint fan that can admit this... Don't say this on Saintsreport, you'll start a riot. I'll give props to Sproles, he did his thing.
  2. IMO, he has decent size and speed. When I watch him, Emit comes to mind, not that big and not that fast. However, what I liked about Ingram in college was his vision and quick decisive moves going through the hole. Also, the small RBs are doing it in the NFL.. Rice, MJD, etc..
  3. I wish all players would just shut up and settle it on the field. All that jawing gets you nowhere...the scoreboard will have the last laugh.
  4. Ouch that sucks, there wont be much of a drop off because the Saints have too many options at WR. If it were Brees, different story.. Note to Fantasy folks: PICKUP MEACHEAM...
  5. You shouldn't be surprised, TD has done this every season since he's been here. Remember, Foxworth (good trade), Tye Hill (oh lawd..not so good) and Brian Williams(decent until injuries got him). These moves all happened around the same time frame. I don't know if he'll be starting but we needed the depth.
  6. +1 Nola, we haven't always agreed on much, but I'm with you a 100% on this. Why don't you take us back and pull out some stats...
  7. ....classic. I feel sorry for the next fan that tries that, those security guards will put a hurtin on him.
  8. ...Chad wearing a helmet, he's not as crazy as I thought. I thought the bull stomped the heck out of him in regular speed. In slow motion, not so much. How much did he make?
  9. My bad, you're right, I don't know how I forgot that 1st Vikes one.
  10. I agree with what most have said, both losses were bad. No way to dress them up. I wasn't surprised with our outcome against GB. We never dominated anyone for 4 qtrs the entire season, we just couldn't get all three phases of the game to click in one game. After Rogers had his concussion during the last qtr of the season, he seemed to play at a different level and the rest of the Packers rallied behind him. The Saints, followed their MO for the 2010 season, which was play down to their competition. So, I wasn't completely shocked by the Sea Hawks win, but I was shocked by Hasselbeck's play, I didn't know he still had it in him. As a fan of football, I think of memorable plays, I can't think of one specific play from the Falcons GB game. From attending the game, I remember getting bombed by TDs from Rogers and their punter not punting. Saints game, the Lynch run was one of the best runs I've seen in the playoffs, I think it has to be in the top 5 of all time maybe even top 2. From a historically playoff loss point of view, it depends on when you became a fan. The GB loss doesn't compare to the 1981 playoff loss against Dallas and Mr. Danny White..I still can't get over that game. For the Saints, IMO it would be the playoff loss against us in 1991.
  11. The NFL should've done a better job in teaching players about Tweeting. You have countless players giving bulletin board material about their random thoughts. After, Mendenhall's bone head tweets, you would think most players would really just focus on other things besides tweeting this week. I was shocked by Reggie Bush's latest Tweet. "Everybody complaining about the lockout! Shoot I'm making the most of it! Vacation, rest, relaxing, appearances here and there! I'm good! ... Right about now we would be slaving in 100 degree heat, practicing twice a day, while putting our bodies at risk for nothing Reggie Tweet Saint fans chime in.
  12. Dude, I'm going to take the high road, I don't argue with fellow Falcon fans, and that's if you are a Falcon fan. That's why I don't post in TATF, I just find it counter productive. It's funny you played the I was on the original message board card, as if that gives you some entitlement or credibility above other posters, rivals included. I specifically said RC "Rival Central" meaning this specific forum. You are new to RC. I haven't seen you post in here until this year, which I'm not condemning you for. I mentioned it only to make a reference to post that have been posted in here over the years. Therefore, if you're new to RC you wouldn't know the history.
  13. What's with the rules, yes I called you out on the personal attack because it was childish and uncalled for. I never said that I wouldn't throw a zinger out there of my own. My response to him was tame, if he finds problems with it, he can speak for himself. Hyporcritical....not so.
  14. True, but the ones that stick out are the OMG..let me make something happen, which went back for TDs sometimes. From the 09 season, this seemed very uncharacteristic of him.
  15. The problem I saw in Brees last season, as I'm sure many Saint fans did. His decision making was horrible on the ints, he seemed to be doing his best impression of Favre. For me, it wasn't just that they happened, it was the way they happened. IMO, Brees is too much of perfectionist to play like he did in those instances last season. For example, the games he had against us. In both games, Brees in 100yrs wouldn't make those types of ints. Brees is Breesus with a running game, he seemed to be forcing it last season, hence the ints..his most ever in his career.
  16. Classy post Ray. My next door neighbor is a Saint fan and we've talked in depth about how he felt. I do hope the Falcons get to the promise land and I'm sure I will have all of the same emotions as you did.
  17. I'm not a fan of rankings, but this list seems to be about right, no surprises here. IMO, it still has to be settled on the field. Saints and Falcons ranked so high, interesting too see based on our historic history.
  18. I would have to say Rogers, with all the injuries, and his playoff and SB run was impressive. I couldn't pick Brees, because he isn't Breesus without a running game.
  19. They're scaring the beejezz out of me, but hey I'll take in playoff win I can get.
  20. I do find it odd, that you would inject yourself....Captain save a H&*^, are always out there..I guess, if you find the need, well then that's your prerogative. Did you read my first response to him? If not, please gather all your facts before jumping in. My point had nothing to do with a hypothetically point about, if the internet was around. It had more to deal with the facts of a past team success, similar in nature, rival, same division, etc.. In my example, the NFCW 49ers. I'm sure he was a fan back then, so I asked him how would he responded if a 49er fan asked this same question. Hypothetical, from a past proven factual records, vs if we or if you don't. Secondly, you're new to RC, and this was a typical post for several years, as I stated in my original response to him.
