  5. MY in-laws and families are all Carolina fans - Go Falcons!
  6. Let's see how effective Quinn's deck chair rearrangement was.
  7. While Quinn has been terrible at game management throughout his time here, that Super Bowl lack of situation-control is plenty enough reason to move on from him now as far as I am concerned.
  8. Deion ain't been the same lately either it seems.
  9. Going to watch, not with any enthusiasm or great expectations, however. Go Braves!
  10. This offense as DK is calling it is nothing like the Shanahan offense of recent years - and it is showing in not scheming open very often, no run game, no surprise, not having the sense to activate a bruising RB for 4th and 1's, no safety valve receive, not enough play variety of mis-direction, just a mess.
  11. I still have (some) hope - Go Falcons! ... but much less faith....
  12. Ryan was accurate but all those balls were caught also, good job by the receivers for no drops. Some of those high passes, if tipped rather than caught would have been intercepted. I miss all those wide open receivers Shanny use to scheme up. Well when they have been there, Ryan has not seen them. Hopefully that changes.
  13. Comment I posted in that article: Good one, Jeff. Little game management things like not questioning 2 obvious bad spots giving first downs, not vociferously defending a severely injured player over throwing helmet, these have added up over time to really tick me off.He stands stoically on the sidelines while the team and season appear to be circling the drain again this year. The bigger picture, well-covered here, shows a staff that is not prepared at the start and not reacting and adjusting enough in game to fix issues such as that pass play that worked all game long and ended the game.I also, a Falcons fan for over 45 years, am caring less and less and close to tuning the team out. I already regret buying Sunday ticket to be able to see this crappy coaching and undisciplined play every week.
  14. ATT has run DirectTV and Sunday Ticket down into the ground. They incorrectly had the Atlanta game blacked out in the Carolina market until about 8 minutes left in game, I watched on the channel with 8 games pictured, when I was not spending over an hour in chat, on hold, or on phone. They stated on phone they would send email when fixed and include compensation - below is email received. I guess if they had to screw me over for one game, this was a good one to (mostly) miss.
  15. who is hurt? spent over an hour on hold with ATT who crapped the bed and blacked out this channel in my NC market, believing I could get game locally. still don't have game except for the game mix channel
  16. Thought today was the day (for contract). < insert Caddyshack Judge Smails Well. We're Waiting meme here >
  17. I'll just record the later NFL channel rebroadcast (also DirecTv) - have not looked to see if scheduled yet
  18. My concern was the amount of hook Giorgio was getting in his kicks last week. Hard to be highly accurate with that much of a curve involved, it seems to me. His kicks looked better than that last year.
  19. After what I saw from Schaub, if Benkert is done for the season we better bring someone else in at QB - lots of teams have a viable option at backup QB but we don't, in my view.
