Regarding the Reddish/#20 for trading up....TS did say that he had disscussions about moving up in the draft.
From the rumor mill, The teams were asking for Reddish, TS wasn't offering him though but most likely Huerter.

    Here's ESPN's analysis of JJ:

    "Pre-Draft Analysis

    Strengths
    - Impressive combination of strength and explosiveness at 6-9, 220 pounds. Strong lower body. Plays with physicality.
    - Extremely versatile defender. Can shift anywhere from 1 to 5 in a pinch. Good instincts off the ball. Rotates for blocks and charges. Aggressive rebounder on both ends.
    - At his best pushing in the open court. Fluid ball handler for his size and crafty passer. Excellent straight-line driver who can change speeds.

    Improvement areas
    - Rigid shooting stroke. Long release with mixed results. Doesn't have many ways to score in the half court outside of energy plays.
    - A bit predictable as a shot creator. Likes to catch, jab right, drive left. A little too turnover prone for a playmaker.
    - Not overly long relative to his height. Does he have enough offensive game to ever be more than a third or fourth option on a playoff team?

    Projected role: Two-way combo forward

    Post-Draft Analysis
The Hawks had an outstanding year that ended in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals and provided plenty of optimism and substance to build on long-term. With one of the NBA's biggest young stars in place in Trae Young and a plethora of versatile talent around him at every position, the Hawks main concern will be staying healthy and finding a way to keep their luxury tax situation in order as the likes of Young, John Collins and Kevin Huerter see their rookie-scale contracts expire and expect major paydays that appear well-deserved.
Once considered a potential candidate for the No. 1 pick after a scintillating start to the college season, Jalen Johnson's star fell due to injury, inconsistent play, and an abrupt decision to leave Duke mid-season, which generated significant backlash. Regardless, few players in this draft share Johnson's talent as a 6-foot-9, ball-handling point forward who's explosive and has intriguing instincts defensively. His jumper will need to improve, but there are few players in this range of the draft who have as high a ceiling as Johnson does if he reaches his significant potential. --Jonathan Givony"

BTW, every site has a different opinion on this stuff, and fans can usually find one that fits their needs.
Having said that, I play around on Tankathon quite a bit. They had Jaden Johnson as the #7 overall prospect and the top guy in tier 3:

ESPN also had him at #12.
That's a VERY good get at #20 in the NBA Draft.

He is just an unwilling participant in the game of basketball.  Natural talent can only get him so far  - he has to put in WORK and he has refused thus far.

But isn't that the point? They signed him as a FA and didn't trade away a bunch of their talent and depth to get him.

Personally I don’t see it happening.  He’s a great scorer but his defense is bad.

No one wants Kyle Kuzma. I wish the lakers would realize this. Dude is a negative. Laughable they think he is worth moving up 10 spots.

Simmons is immature and lazy, which shows more and more each season that goes by.

I fear we would be a worse team with this lineup and loss of depth.
OO has no PnR chemistry with Trae, nor does he have any perimeter scoring consistency. And KAT may not be a scheme fit. PnR isn’t his strong suit, and he’s not known for rim defense.
We want a 4 & 5 that can hold the paint down against the Embiid’s and Giannis’, but OO and KAT would actually be a step down from JC and Capela in this regard.
And then, who the heck comes off the bench when Reddish and Hunter rest??  And is Nathan Knight now the permanent backup at 4 and Gallo at 5?
It’s pretty much an entire scheme change to make this work.
We just missed going to the championship by 2 games with our current scheme.  Why are we so dead set on trying to fix something that isn’t broken and clearly works great?
All we really need is Reddish and Hunter to stay healthy and keep improving/developing/building chemistry with the scheme, a backup PG who runs the floor exactly like Trae, probably a 7-footer who can spell Capela and body up bigs, and then ultimately just find a way to keep our existing core together for the next 2-3 years.

    February.
    Still Draft best available player.
Bruno and Knight - now is there chance to show us something, ANYTHING.
We'll sign a big in FAcy.  List in no particular order: Dieng, Noel, Ro. Lopez or we can trade for one:  Zubac from LAC and Plumlee from Detrot (Dunn and OKC 2022 1st, it may take our 2020 1st for Zubac though)
