  1. Cominsky Marcus Green Jordan Miller Shede Gage
  2. Not bad, but I wish his feet were quicker out of the breaks. He's going to have to use his body to shield defenders to be effective in tight quarters.
  3. After a long career, he will commentate for one of the major networks.
  4. Wow. Great balance. Electric feet. Very sudden movements. SPEEEEEEEED! Really not sure why this guy went undrafted. I really hope he sticks. I'd love to see him in the preseason with the first team O-line. He looks alot like Phillip Lindsay. I also noticed that NDSU ran a ton of outside zone. Lot's of "One cut and go" type of runs.
  5. Decent in pass protection. I'd like to see him run a little lower when finishing runs. Good vision and open field running. His QB was trash. Played scared that entire game.
  6. Rico's prowess with alignments is a learned skill. It simply takes time in the film room. Ball hawking is not learned. You either have it or you don't. If you honestly believe that after a full season on the job as the #1 guy (and a full offseason) that Kazee's ability to diagnose, align the defense, and make better decisions won't increase, then I question your knowledge of football. You've got to keep Kazee in a position to make plays with the ball in front of him. He's shown too many times that his strength is there. I also don't believe that Rico will be 100% with his former explosion in 1 year. I've consistently said that Achilles injuries are two-year injuries. They may tinker with Kazee at NB early, but I fully expect him to be the starting FS for the majority of the year. Nothing personal, but your rationale just doesn't account for innate abilities.
  7. My thoughts exactly. Rico is a good player, but you leave ball hawks alone. Turnovers are king.
  8. They can get the capital up pretty quickly with Julio and Grady extensions/restructures. They are sitting at $5.1M in cap space after the projected rookie deals, and that's before Schraeder's June 1 cut designation. His cut will save an additional $4M. They can make another substantial move or two.
  9. Put Rico at NB. He's done it well before. Leave Kazee alone, and let him be the FS. When you find a shoe that fits well, wear it out.
  10. Use him and/or Green like the Saints would use Sproles.
  11. Tillery is a lot like Hageman without the motor concerns. He's a powerful player who plays too high and doesn't utilize his leverage well. If he's trainable, he will be a really good pro. He'd be an ideal 5 tech.
  12. This is stupendous. I'd do a little something different in the later rounds, but wouldn't be mad at any of this. Awesome work.
  13. I hope you're right. Skill positions typically loose their burst. I hope Rico gets it all back.
  14. Don't get your hopes up too high. It typically takes a full two years to regain the explosion that was originally there before the achilles injury. Rooting for him, though.
  15. Lonnie Johnson is super raw with no ball skills. He has the physical tools, but I'd pass on him. Giles-Harris is a baller.
  16. This just lets me know that we should trade down
  17. Best wishes to Bryant Young. Family illness is tough, and he's been dealing with it a long time. God bless him and his family. With that said, how come we haven't thrown a boatload of cash at Chuck Smith? He will join if the incentive is right.
  18. I like it. The only change I'd make is with the Savage pick. I'd go RB or another interior guy instead. I still want to target Dexter Lawrence in the second. I think that a guy like Renell Wren is a fair comp to Tillery, and will be there later as well. Love the Isaiah Johnson pick.
  19. A few comments: Pittsburg's receiving corp (on the whole) has never been higher than ATL's. Our receivers do more. period. Chicago beat our our TE due to depth. The DL and OL are definitely where the money/ draft capital needs to be spent.
  20. I love this, but would make only a couple of changes. I'd restructure Vic, Alford, and Schraeder on prove-it deals. It'll only take around $5M to sign the draft class. We'd have the wiggle room. I'd also consider a corner between 2-5 rounds.
  21. lol. I wouldn't take that bet. TD seems to be against it. This was just a 1st draft. It'll be drastically different after the combine.
  22. Build the O-line through the draft. I've posted my first mock of year in the Draft & Free Agency Forum, but here is a snapshot. It includes two trade downs. I do realize that Davis is gone now. I'd take the best interior D-Lineman left.
