  1. It isn't that he talks about it so much, it is that he is consistently massively intellectually dishonest when he does. If he doesn't want folks to think he is a Putin operative, he should probably not blatantly repeat the Party line and go out of his way to SOUND like a Putin Propagandist . . . in both substance and style.
  2. Why? I have no issue with him whatsoever. I enjoy his criticisms. That his wife has NOT stopped him from trolling speaks volumes about his legitimacy.
  3. I did not ask you, but I am very glad to have this conversation. I've been pretty deep in the Russian thing since the beginning. I don't expect you to recite chapter and verse every allegation I made about "collusion" but generally what did I get wrong? Is it fair to say that the Mueller report only exonerated the Trump campaign to the extent that he was not confident there was sufficient evidence that the Campaign aided the Russians with the intent of meddling with the campaign? It confirmed an awful lot of bad stuff and did not shut the window on anything. Was there a specific finding that Trump is not at least beholding to, if not leveraged by Russia? The Mueller report did create a factual predicate for being extremely concerned about many aspects of this Administration. Should that be ignored? How are we supposed to handle this? I am a little frustrated with folks saying that Democrats need to be responsible for fostering an atmosphere that is favorable to Trump. Why should Democrats be held to a higher standard for fostering an atmosphere that is favorable to Trump than Republicans are for, you know . . . Trump? Yeah, I talked about this previously, there's nothing wrong with the report that I know of. The problem was the media deluge of Russiagate stuff that turned people entirely the **** off of hearing about it, especially from people that were dead certain Mueller was going to unearth a criminal network that he was operating with a foreign power, and then charge him with crimes. Russiagate is so toxic in public discourse now, the Democrats are split on whether or not to even attempt impeachment based on what they have. It worked just how Trump would want it to work so that whatever he knew and did about Russian election meddling during his campaign, paled in comparison to what debauchery liberals could imagine going on between him and Putin. Trump acted the way he did with Putin, and shouted "no collusion" at cameras all those times, because he wanted that to be the news cycle for the liberal news outlets as often as possible, and to assure liberals that he was stupid enough to lie about it every day until he was caught, which justified their certainty that he would eventually be caught. Trump did that on purpose, because he wanted people to feel suffocated by Russiagate and by liberal smugness over his own stupidity, all culminating in what was to them an inexplicable failure by Mueller to come up with more than he did. But Trump always knew Mueller wasn't going to come up with the promised criminal network between him and Putin. So of course he'd want that to be the story every single day if that's the part he knew they couldn't prove. 1) You did not actually address my questions (I don't think) 2) I'm not sure who to believe? the "No evidence of collusion whatsoever this is all a hoax" people or the "There was just enough collusion to make the libs THINK there was criminal activity going going on" people. Do you see the absurdity?
  4. It does call for prosecuting doctors (sort of?). So perhaps the D.A. will have an equal protection problem . . .
  5. I’ll try not to delete this one. Keep it clean.
  6. The most anti-climatic ending to an epic series sense… Sunday night.
  7. I’m going to blame today’s F-bomb Salty JP dropped.
  8. I wonder if he was read his Last Rights . . . . again? Niki Lauda
  9. For once, his skin color saved him from further humiliation . . .
  10. I'm glad to hear you say that, because that was my take when I first heard the expression. Knowing that there is tremendous elevation change in the state, and even skiing and Snowbowl and Sunrise, I assumed there was actually a river up on Mountain Lemen or the White Mountains or something that froze during the winter . . . . Well . . . 1) There is never ice on the Santa Cruz. 2) The Santa Cruz is not even a real river. It is a gulch that really only flows during monsoons. 3) It is just a reference to the first day temps get to 100 degrees in Tucson. As if it wasn't obvious who the newbies and tourists were by how we mispronounce "Saguaro", they need to drop that ish on us too?
  11. The only decent thing that has happened around here lately is the progression of the Salty Jpowers. I'm a big fan.
  12. Do they talk about the ice breaking on the Santa Cruz in the Phoenix area? Or is that just a Tucson thing?
  13. I hate the culture of "flush." What the **** is the point to all of this?
  14. I could’ve call this the Atlanta United thread, but that would’ve been redundant, wouldn’t it? Remarkable that an Arthur Blank owned team website would not have an Arthur Blank owned team thread in it. But I don’t see a “PGA superstore thread“ either.
  15. I was going to respond to something snarky like “nothing empowers predators like enabling them not to (checks notes) buy a wig, maybe?” But then I read the ongoing discussion and it is just too stupid to respond to it all. And now I feel shame. The “legalizing transgender bathrooms and Hanses sex crimes” is the clearest way to notify the world “I am a completely homophobic/trans phobic/scared ****less of anything different complete idiot.”
  16. Two things I hate about Republicans: 1) Can’t keep their bible off of our laws. 2) Too stupid to understand that animosity towards Theocrats IN NO FREAKING WAY is animosity towards Christians. I know plenty of clergy who express “animosity” towards theocrats.
  17. Well of course, if ignore everything about the Party and policies they actually vote for. .
  18. I’ll allow it.
  19. On the way to school this morning, my son pointed out that, in fact, we have a telescoping pole with a pruner or saw attachment. Which is a reminder that the mind goes as well as the body. I'm going to dig that bad boy out and finish the job tonight. The pain I feel tomorrow will be less than that of the shame I would feel for calling someone to do work that I should be able to handle myself. I need to get back in the gym anyway.

  21. Great. I'm sorry I missed it when you made your case. Will you please provide a link? What specific part of the entire Russian issue, from the attempt to meddle with the election to the completion of the Mueller Report, was a Hoax? And how do you define "hoax"?
  22. No chance? I’ll take some of that action. I guess you’ll give me some pretty **** good odds? I’ll put up a buck. You tell me what it will pay.
  23. OK . . . Will you please be specific about what you are calling a "Hoax"?
  24. I think they want it to fail 5-4 or 6-3 to guarantee Trump DOES get re-elected.
  25. This is intriguing . . . The only time we heard boo from Mueller during the investigation was when there was the claim that Trump told Cohen to lie to Congress (about the Trump Tower deal still pending?) * I don't think there is anything in the Mueller Report that implicates anyone associated with the Campaign or Administration for fostering perjury, so at first blush, this looks like a reach. But are they that stupid? They must have some reason for digging there. But why wouldn't Mueller have indicted someone, or at least mentioned it in the report, if he had evidence that someone had illegally or even improperly influenced Cohen's perjury?
