The Trufant disrespect in this thread is surprising and disappointing.
Also, considering we haven't had many players that consistently score a positive WAR, you'd expect more appreciation for someone who did for the better part of the decade.

Roddy was absolutely more valuable than TonyG. Although I wouldn’t be opposed to putting Tony in the ROH too.

Tru was very solid but yeah I don’t see how he could possible be over Roddy or TonyG.

I saw some Falcons working out together about a week ago. Among them was the rookie Walker, AJ Terrell, Brandon Powell, and Calvin Ridley. They were running plays and everything but I don’t think everyone there was a Falcon because the QB was some dude with longish hair. But Terrell was covering Ridley the whole time. Ridley looked like a beast. That’s my only take away. Not that Terrell looked bad (I wasn’t watching him that closely) but Ridleys route running and fluidity is just next level.

Ridley has stood out, as being on another level ,on every footage I've seen this offseason.

I try to live by that belief as well. Is this the way Dr. King would have pushed for these life deficits for "my people". I respect what you're putting forth but this will only create division in our country. Are we a nation or a mouth piece for the ones who shout the loadest.

There is one sure fire way to fix this. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It’s an easy rule to quote but harder to put into practice. However, if everyone would do it, we would have a much better society across the board. This teaching works 100% of the time it is used when all sides use it.  I am renewing my commitment to do this. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

The small % of people in the A/A community on one side of the spectrum who are looting and damaging property and the small % of anarchist white kids on the other side of the spectrum who are always looking for a reason to riot are a problem. The vast majority of both races who genuinely want to see this problem corrected peacefully need to be strong and unified together. The small % of people on both extremes are doing their best to make things difficult. Those of us of all races who know better, and our group is the multi-racial majority in this situation, need to lock arms and work together in unity.

The peaceful, non violent teachings of Jesus, Dr King, Ghandi and others are the only way this comes to a good outcome.

Wait a second. The looters are opportunists that are taking advantage of the distraction of the police, not those standing up for the cause of civil rights. Whether or not he was a felon or a saint, he is a human being, handcuffed, vulnerable. If it were I (a 45 year old white man) I would have been questioned, maybe fined, and sent on my way. This example is just a small part of the equation. Lack of healthcare, income inequality, the inability to post bond on petty offenses and on and on. Love your neighbor as yourself.

OK, we should all just applaud the destruction going on in our cities and just say thank you. People hold up Floyd as a hero ( a 4 time convicted felon). Yes it was terrible what happened to him. But a thousand times more tragic the harm ( mostly to the black) communities, done by looters, thieves and firebombers. I am white, so what, I've worked closely my entire life in Atlanta along side black men and we respected each other as MEN, not any other altruistic definition. We drank together and laughed and joked and I was proud to be their friends and coworkers. Kick me out, but this pity party is about BLM, got it. But in the site of our Lord God Almighty we all matter. Oh, and I,I,I, meant it.

I get on Matt a lot when I feel it's deserved but he really is a good dude as well as a great player. Ironically, I sent one of my delivery drivers to his home today to deliver a very fancy looking golf simulator. I wanted to ride out there with him but I was so busy in and out the office😞. Either way, would've been good to meet him.

Thanks, but I don't ignore anybody. The only way to make any progress is to listen to people, even if we don't agree. Communication is the only way to get your point across and you have to do it in a civil manner. I like Charles, but I disagree with him on this issue

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has pledged $500,000 toward a fundraiser he’s establishing to help the black community in Atlanta.
Via Vaughn McClure of ESPN, the Falcons quarterback hopes to raise $2 million in total.
“Last week I made a commitment to listening and learning, and one of the messages that hit home for me was the difference between reacting to a situation and responding to a situation,” Ryan said in a statement. “For far too long, I have reacted to social injustice with empathy and silent support but failed to follow through with active support. I feel the time has come to RESPOND. For ALL of us to respond.
“I see my city hurting, which is why I’m starting a fundraiser to help improve conditions for people of color in the city of Atlanta. . . . Over the next few weeks, months I’m going to listen to the needs of the black community and get guidance on how I can be most impactful. I’m going to get input from local grassroots organizations as well as community leaders who are committed to making change.”
He also made a statement on Instagram after the death of George Floyd, acknowledging that he can’t understand the depth of the country’s racial issues, but promising “listening and learning with all humility and compassion.”
That kind of action made an immediate impression on his teammates.
“For Ice to show the support and that he’s got love, it’s really just an acknowledgement that he understands,” safety Ricardo Allen said. “For Ice to come from probably a totally different background and place in life then I come from — and I can’t expect him to fully feel what it feels like to grow up in the hood or what it truly feels like to be a black man in America — but for him to actually take that stance and say that and let us know that he feels us, I appreciate that.”
It’s a good step for Ryan (and for Atlanta), and puts him on firmer footing than some other quarterbacks in the news lately.

This is a no brainer.  Paul Worrilow far exceeded expectations in his own career & for that he can hold his head up proudly.
But as far as physical gifts & God given talent, Jones is a far superior athlete.  Thanks to Paul for filling the gap until we were able to secure the services of our probowler Deion Jones!  Who I hope goes on to have a magnificent career in a falcons uniform.
Looking forward to our future, not behind to our shortcomings.

Worrilow was fine as a starter. He was solid. Not great but average/serviceable. But yeah he shouldn’t be the best linebacker on your team. But y’all are being a little hard on him. And he played really well the super bowl season when the starters went down.

Well, I don’t know about everyone else but as for me and the ones that are agreeing with me, it has been totally objective as most of us loved his effort.

And you are correct, his best season here was the super bowl year when he was used exactly as he should. As a special teams guy and backup LB.

Dude your ignorance and hate is clearly showing. That play Foye and Kazee messed up. Tru did the right thing, he was containing the edge, you can see the RB heading to sideline., he lets him bounce outside then it’s on him. Fatboi and many others have debunked this garbage on that play many times. Kazee had a easy shot at him 15-30 yards down field. He missed an easy tackle, then foye inside.  The blocker takes out Tru if he moves inside.
