  1. Yeah i was wrong :( I was hoping for both to get cut. Only got 1 of the 2 lol. i guess 50% isn't bad

exactly. we dont need either of the scrubs shockley nor harrington. both of those scrubs should be long gone. instead we're stuck with one of the evils only because idiots like THEYHATEME buy his jersey. friggin numnuts. the best players should make the roster not friggin tools that SUCK

  2. i agree this is stupid that we are carrying dj on our active roster. its only going to cause the idiots to cause problems all year long. we dont need 3 active qb's on the active roster. Look at the giants. they just won the superbowl maybe we should take some cues from them. carrying only 2 qb's and didnt think twice about it prolly

  3. idk if i would want to do a trade involving redman...he's the only one i would feel comfortable with outside of Ryan...We'd be in an absolute s**thole if ryan goes down. Oh god i would not want to see Harrington for another season! and shockley god i wouldnt even watch games anymore

  4. harrington was 2/5 with 2 ints with the same 3rd stringers, and almost had 3 ints if it wasnt a false start, which i still dont see, and ill take DJ, who is still progressing, while harrington is digressing.

and Ofan stop bring your silly logic with you everywhere. didnt they teach you in Law School that MBs dont need no sticking logic.

you continue with false stats. you really are one of the dumbest fans around here.

  5. henne must be the most overrated QB in this draft.. he put up mediocre numbers on a good michigan team. he wasnt projected higher than a 2nd day pick for most of his career. then after the combine all of sudden ppl are saying he is the 2nd or 3rd best qb in the draft? what do QB's do at the combine anyway? ridiculous

  6. I am. It happens to every rebuilding NFL team in the pre-season, esp. Game 4 when it's the last chance a lot of these players have. It will mostly all disappear once the regular season starts and these young guys know their jobs are secure.

i found those 2 back to back penalties when snelling broke off long runs to be hilarious.

but yea i wouldnt worry too much, but at the same time we need to look more disciplined when it counts. our offensive rhythm stinks

  7. I thought Harry Douglas was pretty impressive this preseason.

meh. 7 catches 53 yards. he definitely looks the part of a rookie out there. he made some mistakes but did have 2 impressive catches. i'd like to see him develop better route running so he can get separation and stretch the field with his speed.

  8. Cautiously optimistic but i love how we are heading.

exactly. its preseason so we dont want to celebrate and cork open the vintage wines but we must admit, i cant recall seeing such stout defensive performances consistently over a period of time.

Donatell's defense was fast but soft. We were always inconsistent with it. Zimmer was just terrible all over the place, no one played well last year (but we lost players to injury too; DT's)

Smith has brought in a proven system and we are placing in a more physical scheme. The defensive chemistry is there, its obvious. The players are buying into the scheme. and right now i would say, the only concern is how players in the secondary (Grimes!) perform during the real test: regular season.

  9. Exactly - Biermann is going to get plenty of snaps on passing downs. Why neutralize that pass rushing threat by allowing the offense to run all over him on 1st and 2nd down - allowing them more running yards AND tiring out Biermann?

The defensive line is all about situational rotation. Anderson has shown that he is excellent against the run. We definitely want to see some more pass rush from him from LDE, but our rotation is working very well with Anderson at LDE on run downs and UT on pass downs, and Biermann coming in on pass downs.

    P:

Michael Koenen − Not as many booming punts as usual..but he's still a reliable punter

Our defense is just stifling in the red zone. They play great as an overall unit i love Mike Smiths defense. The offense is generally pathetic. For the 4th game now we see a lot of offensive penalties and holding calls that kill our drives, and we fail to overcome them. It not good if in PRESEASON you cant score 20 or more points in a game... Mularkey needs to get things going or i will lose faith in him fast. Props to van gorder and smith, you guys are definitely doin your job on defense.
